The App Store is full of popular but mediocre Apps that yet make it to the top lists. Why? Because the App Developer knew how to get the word out. It doesn’t matter how great your App is if the world doesn’t know it exists. Get the word out! Your Marketing and communication plan should address:
• Define your target audience.
• Research the best media and ideal locations to reach your target audience.
• Get the word out with a Press Release, review sites, guest posts and any other free media method you can think of.
• Consider paid advertising if you have budget for it.
