Presented by Kristin JohnstadKristindevoteshercareertodevelopingindividuals,networksandsystemstobemoreeffectiveandresilient.Shehasextensiveexperienceincross-sectorcollaborations,peer-basedlearningmodels,networkcapacitybuilding,andprovidingtrainingandtechnicalassistanceonsuccessfulcommunityinitiatives.Kristinstartedherownconsultingpracticein2012after11yearsastheSeniorConsultantwithSearchInstitute,anappliedresearchfirmwithglobalclients.Priortothatrole,shedesignedandledinnovativeprojectsincommunityandsocialchange.Shethrivesinworkingacrossdifferencesandfrequentlyassemblesinter-disciplinaryandinter-generationalteamsforoptimalresults.Sheisagoodneighbor,mom,andspouseandlovestosingatthebedsideofthosepreparingtodie.SheresidesinthePowderhornParkneighborhoodofMinneapolis,MNKristinhasaMastersdegreeinInternationalAdministrationandreceivedcertificationsinintegralcoachingin2009(NewVenturesWest)andtheapplicationofcomplexitysciencetohumansystemsimprovementin2005(HumanSystemsDynamics).SheisleadconsultantwithNetworkWeaverInstitutehavingprovidedcloseto100presentationsandworkshopsonnetworkweavingoverthelast7years.AnactiveassociatewithAuthenticityConsultingwheresheappliestheirpeer-basedlearningwithclientsaroundtheworld,KristinisalsoafrequentteamplayerwiththeLeadershipLearningCommunityprojectswhicharefocusedattheintersectionofleadership,communitybuildingandnetworks.

In2016,theworkcontinuedwithatotalof85Connectorsfrom20differentorganizations.Theyconnectionswithover520differentpeopletotaling3,059encounters.
In2019,thereareover120Connectorsfrom60differentorganizations.In2018therewereconnectionswithover2,000differentpeoplereachingover5,500residentswhowereinneedofresourcessuchasfood,Medicaidenrollment,enrollinginfoodstamps,Disabilityenrollment,ACAenrollment,accesstopersonalhygieneitemsincludinghouseholdgoodsuchasbeds,sheets,couch,etc.
