CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP
The Quaich Project at West Princes Street
Gardens represents the next chapter in
the story of one of Scotland’s most iconic,
vibrant and high-profile city-centre locations.
Like the traditional Scottish sharing cup from
which it takes its name, The Quaich Project will
create new ways to celebrate Edinburgh’s status
as one of the world’s most innovative, welcoming
and thriving capitals – generating new global
connections and raising this landmark location’s
profile on the world stage.
Our vision is to reimagine this place as a ‘space
for all’ – bringing together the latest thinking
in architectural, landscape and environmental
design to create a joyful space that celebrates
modernity and history, vibrancy and tranquillity,
practicality and artistry.
The project offers a multitude of unique, high
profile sponsorship opportunities in the form of
campaign-related events and activities, through
to capital sponsorship of new world class facilities.

Project, your brand can take advantage
of high-profile marketing opportunities
while aligning with our four key themes.
A SPACE FOR COMMUNITY

tailored facilities, all members of our community
will be able to enjoy the gardens. From improved
amenities such as extended children’s adventure
playparks to seamlessly integrated pathways and
connections across the city - every element of the
design has been considered to offer maximum
accessibility and usability.
A SPACE FOR NATURE
Our gardens act as the lungs of the city
– helping to provide a calm place to retreat to
and a canvas of iconic Scottish greenery to enjoy.
Our vision is to create a place of tranquillity
that local, national and international visitors can
enjoy as a destination location in the heart of
Scotland’s capital.
A SPACE FOR REFLECTION
The Quaich Project is dedicated to retaining
the gardens’ cultural and historical significance.
West Princes Street Gardens sits within one of
Scotland’s five UNESCO World Heritage sites
and our project will reflect Edinburgh’s proud
history and heritage.
A SPACE FOR CELEBRATION
Throughout the year, West Princes Street
Gardens will play host to a vast array of events –

The Cottage in West Princes Street Gardens
is an iconic building within one of Edinburgh’s
most striking and tranquil settings. The building
is not currently, and has never been, available for
hire; The Quaich Project has on offer the highly
sought-after opportunity to sponsor and attend a
series of intimate Victorian themed VIP dinners in
our spectacular dining room.
This captivating and memorable space will be the
main venue for our top-level philanthropic donor
events, hosted by globally renowned business
leaders and philanthropists from Scotland, the
UK and further afield. Sponsors will have the
opportunity to attend these dinners and raise
your business’ profile amongst an engaged
audience of key contacts.
THE COTTAGE DINNER SERIES
Our Quaich Bearers are globally recognised Scots
who act as ambassadors for The Quaich Project
on an international stage. We will be collaborating
with these supporters to deliver a variety of
specially planned performances and VIP events
throughout the duration of the project. These
events are designed to raise the profile of The
Quaich Project on the world stage and to engage
key philanthropists and individuals overseas.
Sponsors will have the unique opportunity to
benefit from our Quaich Bearers’ global profile,
with events already scheduled for New York,
Los Angeles and London.
FAMOUS FACES
One of the most important aspects of The Quaich
Project is communicating our vision to the local
community. We are delivering this vital work
through a series of large-scale public engagement
events coinciding with key dates in Edinburgh’s
bustling calendar of activities.
From art and heritage exhibitions to family
friendly walking trails and live performances, each
event is curated to engage the people of Edinburgh
and to raise awareness of the improvements that
will come as part of The Quaich Project’s vision
for the future. These events present an excellent
opportunity to align your business with our
community-focused project goals and to raise
brand profile amongst local audiences.
PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT EVENTS
With active prospective donor bases in North
America and Asia, we will be hosting a number
of VIP overseas dinners in line with key dates in
Scotland’s international calendar, tapping into
high profile Scottish networks abroad. These are
excellent international sponsorship opportunities
for overseas organisations to engage with this
iconic Scottish project, or for businesses in
Scotland who wish to raise their profile amongst
our international high-net-worth networks.
INTERNATIONAL DINNER SERIES
With unparalleled marketing potential in both
location and profile, The Quaich Project offers a
unique opportunity to sponsor a portfolio of brand
new, world-class facilities. From new pathways
and seating areas to adventure play parks and a
5,000 capacity concert venue, there are various
elements available to showcase your brand and
increase experiential marketing activity.
