Digital case study

‘The Turkey 10’ for Wild Turkey.

We created ‘The Turkey 10’ – a sponsorship of 10 local sports teams, in different codes, with branded kits and equipment, celebrity training sessions and ‘surprise and delight’ fan events. The concept leveraged a purpose built Facebook application to enable simple and active sharing of the branded content generated by the teams and their fans.

Core created the concepts and designed the assets, managed the digital campaign development, systems integration and the social media community.

The project included an iPad based video capture platform for each team to shoot and upload video content. It was then moderated using YouTube and streamed via the campaign’s Facebook application.

With our event partner Catapult we also developed and delivered the activations. Activation events included a ‘Flashmob’ of fans, cheerleaders and live commentary, by League star Jonathan Thurston. The activations ignited numerous social media conversations and created valuable branded content for Wild Turkey.
