Land, water and air, four wheels or two? We were all so spoiled for choice of adventure, it was hard to decide which amazing experience to join in with! From rafting to parasailing, from cycling through the majestic jungle trails to burning donuts on a crazy all terrain track! Chilling out with some Yoga or surrounded by the beautiful spectacle of ancient temples, we were kept constantly amazed and delighted at everything Bali had to offer.

Getting insights into new products and programs is another one of the fabulous benefits of attending Achievers, and this year was no exception. Bradley & Cheryl De GraafCheryl runs a bridal shop, while Bradley (Jamie to his friends) spent 25 years at sea before leaving eight years ago to start a traditional business and spend more time with their three sons. Jamie joined Amway three years ago.

“I wasn’t impressed. We were busy enough with our existing businesses,” says Cheryl. “But Jamie saw the statistics and thought, ‘why wouldn’t you want to be a part of this?’ It took Jamie about 4 months to convince me it was a good idea. But now the most rewarding thing is giving other

parents an opportunity to get more time with their children.”

Jamie is a huge fan of eSpring®.

When Mahendra and Sunanda migrated to Australia from Sri Lanka 23 years ago, they were open to new business ideas and success within their own family showed them the potential of Amway.

“When one of my sisters in the USA reached Executive Diamond, it had a big influence on us,” Mahendra explains. “We could see the real business potential and of course, the lifestyle my sister achieved with Amway.”

The couple started their Amway business eight years ago and has carried on building the new family

dynasty. Their son Chamara (25) and daughter Nisani (20) are now part of the business as well as studying for their Bachelor degrees.

Today, Mahendra has retired from his job as an Electrical Supervisor to focus on Amway full time and his tips for success include product demo’s, sampling and the VIP program.

“We always provide product demo’s when we are showing the business for the first time. If someone is not ready to join, we invite them to be a VIP client and samples help build appreciation of the very wonderful products.”

Anthea NoonanBusy mum of two, Anthea Noonan was already the co-owner of a number of businesses when the Amway opportunity was shown to her. She knew she was looking at a good thing. “I recognised the importance of diversifying [my business base] and accessing goods and services at better than retail value made good sense.”

Anthea believes that nothing compares to the Amway business model because in her opinion “there is no better system capable of significantly changing a person’s financial circumstances, without large capital outlay and other associated risks.”

For Anthea, the association she has built with other likeminded and successful

people from all walks of life through her Amway business provides a number of personal and professional benefits. She is determined to share her passion with others. “We’re tasked with helping a group of people to do something they don’t think they want to do, to achieve the result they’ve always wanted. The most rewarding aspect is when they eventually realise they are part of a truly exceptional company, brand and concept.”

Anthea thrives on the success of everyone in her network and is committing the next 12 months to helping several members of her team achieve Platinum.

Pui Kei and Man Yu are proof that ‘seeing is believing’ when it comes to proving the great quality and value of Amway products. Keen to maintain their youthful appearances, ARTISTRY Crème L/X became a fast favourite after the couple joined Amway five years ago and friends soon noticed.

When Niroshan first joined Amway in 2009, the couple had a daughter and a busy lifestyle. “I saw Amway as the best option to earn money and still have time together,” says Niroshan. But life became even busier with the arrival of quadruplet boys three years ago.

“Initially, Veronica looked after the home front while I built the business. But once she joined me, our business started growing fast. The main challenge was looking after our children when going out.” Niroshan insists the secret is using and recommending the products.

Andrew ChamAndrew was studying as a first year student at the University of Auckland when his parents first introduced him to Amway. “I was impressed by the virtually unlimited potential of this financial opportunity,” says Andrew. “It has all the benefits of owning a business, with none of the huge risks usually involved when starting and building a traditional business.” His enthusiasm for Amway was infectious. “I immediately shared the opportunity with a number of friends and acquaintances.”

Amway has also become a portable business for Andrew, who currently lives in the UK. “Career opportunities in the IT industry have caused me to work and live away from my home in New Zealand for the last 14 years.” Yet Andrew’s business is still growing, unfettered by distance or borders.

“I am grateful for the huge support I’ve received from Amway, as well as my highly enthusiastic team back home in New Zealand. Each member of my team is continuously striving towards their individual vision and their various goals for the future.”

Alisha and Pradeep were fresh out of University pursuing careers in nursing and accounting, when they first heard about the Amway business experience. “I said if this system can help me have a better lifestyle, I should grab it,” explains Pradeep.

“Like any students, we had very big dreams,” said Pradeep, who said that the couple had dreams of international travel and financial success. “But we had no idea how to get there.”

Today Alisha and Pradeep credit the training and support provided by Amway for developing them

from business novices into confident entrepreneurs.

The couple agree realising their travel dreams is one of the most rewarding aspects of being with Amway and have only recently returned from the ‘Pump Up Your Volume’ tour of California.

Oui graduated as an architect in Perth before returning to Thailand, where she first encountered Amway as a customer ten years ago. “I was already looking for a business when my upline showed me the business plan, and I fell in love with Amway straight away.”

She eventually achieved Founders Sapphire status in Thailand before returning to Australia in 2011, with her two daughters. “I didn’t know anyone in Queensland, and this was harder because of the cultural

differences. For the first 6 months, I hardly got anyone into my business. But my belief kept me going.” Oui now runs her Amway business full time from home in Brisbane.
