Monday 13th – Friday 17th February 11am–1pm and 2–4pm. Suitable for all ages. Make a date in your diary and meet the famous diarist Samuel Pepys when he comes to the Commandery and together with him try your hand at calligraphy, illuminating and listen to excerpts from his diary of course. Tuesday 14th February 11.00am – 4.00pm included with entry fee Family audience for all ages For the first time at the Commandery, join the exciting Black Letter Company who will demonstrate painting with authentic pigments onto manuscript papers, egg tempera and gold leaf work. With demonstrations of this fine skill and have a go sessions for all. ALL WEEK FREE ACTIVITY Try your hand at quill writing a page for your own diary. Cost £2.50 per book. From age 5 Monday 13th and Friday 17th Feb 11am–1pm and 2–4pm Why not design and make your own journal too!
