Club Building In order to remain in compliance with non-profit rules and TI finance procedures, the district cannot give clubs cash reimbursement for open houses but feel it is important to showcase our clubs. As a symbol of pride, if club members pitch in and each brings a snack or treat to share, there should be no financial burden. Therefore, when clubs hold a successful Open House – they can earn a 2-Part Reward. Part One – Receive a $25 TI Store gift certificate just for holding an Open House! Part Two – Receive another a $25 TI Store gift certificate for converting two (2) Open House guests to members within 30 days of your Open House! INCENTIVE REQUIREMENTS Each Open House must be advertised on the District 65 Facebook Page (link) and the new member names provided to the Club Growth Director for verification by June 1, 2019. These new members must be NEW members and not included in any other incentive. A $25 TI Store gift certificate will be awarded to your club when clubs publish an advertisement to the district Facebook page announcing their Open House. Another $25 TI Store gift certificate will be awarded to your club, when you alert the Club Growth Director that you’ve converted two (2) Open House guests to members within 30 days of the Open House date. All paperwork must be received by the Club Growth Director by emailing [email protected] within 60 days of the Open House. This incentive can be used two (2) times during the Toastmasters year. The incentive will not be reimbursed for any Open House taking place after June 1, 2019. Program Quality | DCP Lessons learned have shown that clubs developing a Club Success Plan perform better. The following incentives will give clubs the opportunity to earn up to $75 in TI gift certificates to spend in the Toastmasters online store! Club Success Plan Commitment Incentive The first 50 clubs that submit the long version Club Success Plan, signed by all officers and a copy sent to the Program Quality Director, by December 1st will receive a $25 TI Store gift certificate. Club Success Plan Distinguished with Base Under 12 Incentive Clubs with a base membership of 12 or fewer members between July 1–October 1, 2018, that achieve Distinguished status and following the Club Success Plan turned in by December 1st, will receive an additional $50 TI Store gift certificate, and a ribbon will be sent from Toastmasters International. Club Success Plan Distinguished Incentive The first 50 clubs that achieve Distinguished status, following the Club Success Plan by December 1st will receive a $50 TI Store gift certificate, and a ribbon will be sent from Toastmasters International. 2018-2019 Incentives As with every year, it is important that we end our all of our incentives by June 1, 2019 to enable the finances to be closed in order to be turned over to the next District team.

Program Quality | Embrace the Change!Pathways rolled out in District 65 in May 2018. In order to be forward thinking, we must offer incentives that encourage engagement and excitement for this exciting new program.

Level Up!All Toastmasters who complete a minimum of three levels [L3] in their respective path by end of the current district year on June 30, 2019, will be awarded a Pathways Pin and Ribbon.

Show Your Stuff!Clubs that achieve five (5) DCP Goals between July 1, 2018–January 31, 2019 --and atleast one goal is a Pathways goal – will earn a Pathways Ribbon Pack (40 Level CompletionRibbons)

Pathways Mentor!Is someone in your club Embracing the Change and eager to help? This position is OPEN to one enthusiasticmember (excluding the club VPE) who volunteers to be a Pathways Mentor for the club this Toastmasters year.This individual will work with club members to help them learn the system and work on projects. Be a PathwaysMentor and receive a Pathways Mentor Ribbon. All Pathways mentors who are actively assisting their club willbe entered into a drawing for an additional award that will be given at the Annual Conference in May.

Club Growth | Membership StrengthFor every club that recruits and brings in four (4) new members, the District award a $25 TI Store gift certificateto that club. This must be a new member to District 65 and not a dual member. They can be a reinstated memberif the member has been out of Toastmasters for the past year or longer. A member can also be a transfer if themember is transferring from another geographical region

Club Growth | Be early! Be Distinguished! Be there!!Eligible to ALL clubs. All clubs who become Distinguished or better by April 1, 2019, will eachbe awarded a Full Scholarship to the Annual Conference in May. In addition, the first 50clubs to achieve this will also receive a recognition prize to be awarded at the Annual Conference.

Club Growth | New ClubsStart Out in Style!New clubs will start out in style by receiving the following “Welcome Kit” to hit the ground running: Once chartered, receive 250 Club Business Cards, a Pathways Ribbon Pack, and your choice of a customized banner -OR-portable lectern.

Become a Club Sponsor!Members who conduct demonstration meetings become personally invested in the new club and that usuallytakes time and resources! To offset the financial burden incurred, we will reimburse up to $200 per newclub lead. Prior approval is needed for approved expenses (e.g. printing costs, materials distributed at meetings,food/beverages). Please send an email detailing the costs you will incur to [email protected] BEFORE theexpense is incurred.

Club Growth | Spread the Word!Any Club, Area or Division that establishes a marketing and advertising plan approved by the Finance Manager,the TRIO, and the Public Relations Manager will receive funding for the same*. Email your marketing plan [email protected]. *Funding is limited to $2,000 per Division.
