Client studied art early in her academic life then didn’t pick up a brush for 25 years. During those wasted years, she was distracted by men and material things. She pursued the corporate ladder while she raised two girls and loved many men; five marriages does not leave time for artistic pursuits. She rediscovered her love of art later in life.

Capturing colors is her inspiration. She starts with a black canvas then saturates it with vibrant color. Color catches her imagination and inspires her. She’s exploring different genres and themes but hasn’t found the one that resonates most deeply. She enjoys the process of exploration and her works are strikingly diverse. She also writes and wants to marry her writing to her illustrative painting style. Currently, Client is working on a children’s book, fulfilling that dream.

Illustrating picture books for both adults and kids, and capturing the beauty of the state of Utah and the national parks are on her list. Music is yet another passion; she’s written for Power Pickin and the Planet Bluegrass website.

Client is a caretaker, a giver, and shares her passion for life, love, grandchildren, art, words, and music through her work. She expresses herself in acrylic and watercolor because oils are prohibitively expensive. Inspirations are Max Beckmann , Joan Miró, and particularly Juarez Machado who infuses musicality in his art. Client lives life passionately and paints the same.
