Twinned Parish News
The Catholic Church’s Newest Member!Congratulations to the newest member in the Body
of Christ, Mykayla Ballard! She received the sacra-
ments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Commu-
nion during the Easter Vigil Mass. Welcome
Mykayla!
Vocations PrayerIn response to the great need for priests and
religious vocations in our church we will be praying
the Vocations Prayer, found on the blue card on the
inside cover of your missalette, together at each
Mass after the intersessions. This is a great way to
offer more prayer and to bring more attention to
the beautiful vocational life in the church.
No Weekday Masses this weekFather Aaron will be gone this week for some
vacation time visiting friends and family, therefore
there will be no weekday Masses this week.
A Message from Father Aaron
He Has Truly Risen!
Dear brothers and sisters,
Alleluia! Alleluia!! Jesus Christ has truly risen
from the dead, as he said he would! What a
beautiful celebration we share in today that brings
us such life and hope! Jesus has conquered all sin
and darkness and has risen from the dead. He has
won the battle and now reigns forever with the
Father in heaven. What does this mean for us as
Christians? It means well…everything! It means
that with confident hope and certainty, all the
faithful will one day live with him in eternal
happiness. It means that all the trials and
sufferings of this life which will one day come to
an end, are not just insignificant occurrences, but
they are actually a stairway by which we climb up
to the glory of heaven. It means that we begin our
journey with Christ anew today having run the race
of Lent, now stronger and refreshed with the new
graces of Easter and fifty days of Easter season
graces to look forward to until Pentecost. What a
beautiful faith we have! What a beautiful Savior,
and he has Risen to save us! Alleluia!!
I would like to thank all the staff, ministers,
donors and volunteers who assisted in any way to
make our Lenten Season and Holy Week even
more beautiful. May God bless and reward you for
the heart and effort you put into your work. I
would also like to thank everyone who attended
our services throughout. I pray that Christ’s joy
and peace would fill you and make you strong
witnesses of his glory to others who may not be
connected with a Church or may struggle with
faith. Consider inviting them to our parishes.
Finally, I want to thank our good and loving God
who created us and gave us this amazing gift of
life and sent his Beloved Son into the world so that
we could enjoy life eternally. May we always
remember, Father, who we are….We are yours
alone, redeemed and made holy in your Son.
Happy Easter to you!
Father Aaron

LIVE THE LITURGY - INSPIRATION FOR THE WEEK
Christ is risen indeed! We have arrived at the penultimate feast on the Church's calendar, the cause of our joy and our hope. Life has defeated
death. Sorrow and suffering do not have the last say. In the resurrection of Jesus we see many reasons to rejoice. Not only has Jesus conquered the
specter of visible death, but he restores to us graced life. On Holy Saturday, Jesus descended to the dead and delivered the just souls into heavenly
paradise. What are our own Saturday tombs? Jesus has the power to open
them all. That is our invitation, this day most of all. May resurrection joy fill your heart, your family, your workplace, and your community. Happy Easter!

Parish Cluster Job Posting & Staff Restructuring
Our cluster of St. Anthony's and Assumption will be searching for a new job position in a DRE and Youth Minister. This person will concentrate their efforts on the faith formation and programming of the youth in our parish cluster.
Along with efforts to bring more simplicity and unity between the parish staff and communities there will be some changes in staff positioning.
Jessie Teicher will return to the full-time Secretary and Bookkeeper position in the cluster at both St. Anthony's and Assumption Churches.
Becky Haag will move into a new position as a part-time Pastoral Assistant and Parish Evangelist between both St. Anthony’s and Assumption parishes.
Bonnie Meyer will remain in her position as a part-time DRE assistant but will be working for both St. Anthony's and Assumption parishes.
Michelle Brutger will be moving on to a different path in her life and career but will stay on staff at the Assumption Church for a tentative period of time. We were very blessed to have her with us. Please wish her well in her future endeavors.
We are very blessed to have a dedicated and talented staff here in the cluster and are excited about the new opportunities this hiring and restructuring could bring! Please do pray for the new DRE and Youth Minister position that we are looking for. May the Holy Spirit choose the right person to serve our parishes. Thank you! Fr. Aaron
Molly Hesse will be marrying Patrick Latcham on April 21st at the Church of St. Anthony.
