KEY TO CALENDAR

The Days of the Week

In the Chelouranyan calendar, the days begin at Sunrise. On this calendar, the Janyatic glyphs, the Chelouranyan names, and the Japanese kanji for the days of the week are shown. They correspond to the following days in English. As this is the year of Sai Rhavë, the first day of the week this year is Rhavedi, 土曜日, or Saturday.

After the last day of Moura is Hiatus, which, in the Filianic tradition, the Daughter is dead, and nothing exists. Hiatus is not marked on the calendar, and the New Year is always a surprise!

Astrological Information

There is a cover page before each season, which gives pertinent information for each season, and this page includes the planetary zodiac positions for the first day of the month of the change of seasons. On the first day of each month, the zodiac position of Sai Candre (“the Moon”) is shown in the upper left hand corner, and throughout the month, Sai Candre’s ingress into each sign during that month is similarly marked.

The Candric phases are in the upper right hand corner and are marked using Japanese kanji. The kanji for the Candric phases are as follows:

New Moon – 新月; shingetsu 1st Quarter Moon – 上弦の月; jougen no tsuki; “Upper Bowstring Moon” Full Moon – 満月；mangetsu 3rd Quarter Moon - 下弦の月; kagen no tsuki; “Lower Bowstring Moon” Other information, such as Eclipses and the ingress of the other planets into each sign, is noted near the bottom of the page (or above the Holiday name, if it is a Holiday)
