You are eligible to enroll in Cerner Benefits on your first day of employment. Eligibility

for Cerner Benefits will vary by benefit. Generally, most associates will be eligible for

Benefits.

Healthe at Cerner lets you take an active role in managing and achieving your health and wellness goals; it is our mission to empow-er associates and their families to obtain their optimal level of health.

About Healthe at Cerner

ment and increased convenience. You and your family should feel empowered and have the tools to

actively manage all aspects of your health + care.

Healthe at Cerner sets new standards for consumer-driven health care. By accessing the tools and

participating in programs Healthe at Cerner offers, you will create and enhance the connections you

need to make the best health care choices for you and your family.

Health Club Reimbursement

Cerner encourages healthy lifestyles and offers a health club reimbursement program for athletic

club membership dues at approved facilities. Associates may be reimbursed for 50% of monthly fees

up to an annual maximum of 420 EUR.

Healthe at Cerner is designed to help you Live Well throughout the course of your life by offering programs and services that span across the entire continuum of health + care.

Health Care

Medical Cerner has partnered with Uniqa as our preferred provider of medi-

cal insurance for Associates.

Associates are responsible for the insurance premium, and

Cerner provides a monthly allowance through payroll of EUR 29,07

for associates older than 40 and with more than 15 years of ser-

vice.

Leaves & Life Insurance

Leaves Cerner provides a comprehensive set of absence policies to allow associates the ability to balance personal and work needs.

Maternity Leave Parental Leave Bereavement Leave

Life Insurance and AD&D In addition to the disability benefit included in the pension plan, associates also have access to life insurance policies through one of Cerner’s three providers. The disability benefit included in pension is paid by Cerner, while the voluntary Life Insurance elections are paid for by associ-ates.

Time Off Time Off

As a Cerner associate, annual leave time is provided to you each year to allow you to take time off from work regularly, with pay, for rest, relaxation, and other personal time. Time off will accrue on a weekly basis beginning on your date of hire.

Up to 25 years of service: 25 Days per Year Over 25 years of service: 30 Days per Year

Illness Cerner Time off for illness is based on your personal needs; if you are sick, you should stay home

from work until you are well enough to return to work. Cerner also offers disability benefits for all eli-

gible associates:

Holiday Cerner recognizes 13 public holidays per year.

Additional Benefits

Associate Assistance Program

Cerner has contracted with New Directions Behavioral Health and Cerner HealthPlan Services to

provide Cerner with an Associate Assistance Program (EAP). New Directions provides pre-paid

counseling services by licensed counselors. Associates and/or their family may access this ser-

vice via telephone. Service is available on a variety of topics (i.e. work, family, personal). New Di-

rections’ specialists provide assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days per year to participants.

related problems
