OFFICE OF UNIVERSITY PROGRAMSThe Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Science and Technology

Directorate (S&T), Office of University Programs (OUP) streamlines access

to the expertise of the nation’s colleges and universities to address pressing

homeland security needs through three programs:

 Centers of Excellence

 Workforce Development Initiatives

 Minority Serving Institutions

CENTERS OF EXCELLENCEThe DHS S&T Centers of Excellence (COEs) are university-led consortia

established through DHS S&T OUP. The COEs develop multidisciplinary,

customer-driven homeland security science and technology solutions and

train the next generation of homeland security experts.

MORE QUESTIONS? Stop by the “Working with the COEs” booth to speak with the Office of University

Programs—your DHS link to the COEs—or email [email protected].
