A large BPO company is a global leader in business process and technology management with services covering finance and accounting, analytics and research, financial risk, supply chain, procurement, enterprise application services, and IT information services. Spread across 20 countries supporting more than 30 languages, the company has over 60,500 professionals serving more than 600 clients through a network of 74 delivery centers across the globe.
Due to the growing size and scope of their services, the company realized they suffered from information accessibility and collaboration issues which impeded their global efficiency. They were using an Intranet-based Proflow System across their network that fragmented information and disallowed across-organization collaboration. Because of security and confidentiality issues, information could not be accessed online. Implementation
The solution added new features, including dashboard management to view and manage work orders, work order management to search, view and edit queued work orders, SharePoint management that make documents and videos accessible from the MOSS portal. The new Web Portal also had a master link management system that gave users the ability to access and edit Master Lists used as Look-Ups, a report management system for MIS and BI complete reporting, document management through a central repository, and announcement management through automated push-notifications.control rights for iOS devices as well as through a Web Portal.
As a result of AllianceTek's solution, they now had a unique and comprehensive web and mobile based solution that integrated SharePoint with their existing Proflow System. Now their employees can securely access confidential Intranet-based information online through mobile devices and the Web Portal. These new enhancements improved the speed of operations and reliability through an automated and secure solution. Collaboration from across the organization also increased, uniting the disparate parts of the company across the globe.
