The TRIPLENINE Group is a privately owned business specialising in Stainless Steel materials with a vision of providing the highest quality mechanical engineering support and services in the market.

Since our formation in 2001, the company has grown into a versatile operation with the ability and expertise to construct a diverse range and size of piping, equipment and mechanical installation projects using both manual and automatic techniques.

Our company Principals have over 30 years of experience across Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Semiconductor, Food & Beverage and (FMCG might be a better descriptor) Petrochemical industries provid-ing a sound knowledge of the specialist Stainless steel fabrication and technologies required in these areas.

In 2007, the business moved to its current location in Silverwater - the geographical centre of Sydney. This strategic move allows the business greater flexibility in operations and ease of servicing those clients located within New South Wales as well as along the East Coast of Australia.

Along with room for growth and in line with the demand in clients requirements for large scale off site production, TRIPLENINE'S expanded capabilities encompass full workshop facilities including CNC waterjet cutting and CNC sheetmetal cutting and folding.

TRIPLENINE are equipped to fabricate stainless steel sheet metal items right up to fabrication of large storage vessels offering a complete turn-key solution to our various valued clients construction needs. Of course, our comprehensive orbital welding capabilities have signifi-cantly increased with the purchase of a new AMI 307 power source offering the latest technology in welding and weld traceability.

Our real expertise is at the design phase. From initial consultation with clients in understanding their needs through to design layouts, equipment and material selections and then final installation, commis-sioning, training and O&M manual preparation we pride ourselves on partnering closely with our clients every step of the way to ensure all works are completed within the time frame and scope of works provided.

Today TRIPLENINE has at its disposal, a comprehensive range of plant and equipment coupled with highly experienced and well trained staff. On top of this, our impeccable safety record indicates a real commitment to Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) and we have outlined further safety guidelines on Page 3 of this document.

The TRIPLENINE Group is also an accredited Australian Stainless Steel Development Association (ASSDA) member and fabricator.

In partnering with clients, we recognise no two jobs are ever the same, so TRIPLENINE are pleased to offer a range of flexible pricing solutions specific to our clients requirements. We can quote as a lump sum tender price or carry out works in line with our predetermined schedule of rates.

The objectives of TRIPLENINE Stainless in the implementation of site safety specifically include:

To comply with all relevant statutory duties, regulations, industry codes and standards, making adequate provision of resources to meet these requirements.

To provide adequate information, instruction and training for employ-ees and contractors to increase personal understanding of occupa-tional health and safety hazards and to ensure proper supervision and support, including proper handling of chemicals.

To ensure that adequate and safe plant and equipment, personal protective equipment and working environments are maintained, including relating to handling hazardous substances, throughout TRIPLENINE’S operations.

To involve employees, contractors, suppliers and clients on health and safety matters, and consult with them in ways to reduce occupational hazards and improve control methodologies.

To eliminate work related injury and illness and minimise occupational health and safety risks throughout the organisation’s operations.

To establish ongoing objectives in health and safety management as part of an ongoing action plan and regularly review its performance and that of its managers and general supervisors, against the objectivesof this policy.

Organisational Structure

1.Company DirectorsOur company Directors maintain the overall responsibility for setting the company’s corporate and quality goals and ensuring that they are met through the appropriate and timely allocation of resources. This responsibility is exercised through co-founder and company Principal, Justin Brooks. The company Directors are also responsible for monitor-ing, reviewing and maintaining the quality and safety management systems regularly.

2.Quality Representative/Quality ManagerThe member of the management team who is allocated the role of Quality Representative/Quality Manager has the responsibility and authority to manage the day-to-day operation of the quality system, including advising Company Directors on the performance of the system. The Quality Representative/Quality Manager is also respon-sible for conducting training in quality awareness.

3.Management TeamThis responsibility for seeing that the company’s quality goals are translated into operational effectiveness is delegated by the Company Directors to Company Principals. This includes accountability for the quality outcomes of all sub-elements and/or individuals, including subcontractors.

4.SupervisorsSupervisors are responsible for implementing the quality and safety system on a day-to day basis. They are also responsible for conducting work skills training. Supervisors are responsible to ctompany Principals for the exercise of this responsibility.

5.All StaffDue to the medium size and tight-knit nature of the organisation, management structures with TRIPLENINE are by necessity “flat”. It is common practice for individuals to move rapidly and seamlessly from project management and leadership roles into support positions, or adopt complete ownership of smaller tasks, depending on the nature and sequencing of the deliverable. Within this “matrix”, every person employed by TRIPLENINE, including subcontractors, is individually responsible for ensuring that they understand their role in achieving quality outcomes and then putting these principles into practice.

Their shared academic and trade disciplines encompass priority management, process engineering, plumbing, welding and motor trade certificates to name a few.

Associated work-related training courses include Occupational Health & Safety to supervisor level, qualified pressure welding, Senior First Aid and Environmental Awareness.

As a result of our substantial project experience with the construction of many different process piping/mechanical systems we have become increasingly aware of the many applications and advantages orbital welding has presented. Therefore, today we are able to merge the manual and automatic techniques allowing seamless design & construction of critical quality piping system.

The TRIPLENINE team has established a commitment to the implementation and maintenance of a quality approach in all opera-tions. ScopeTRIPLENINE was contracted by Lion Nathan for the installation of all process and services equipment and piping associated with the new 18 vessel cellar project. Included installation of approx 12,000 mts of tube and pipe.

Construction challengesTRIPLENINE were set a demanding delivery schedule from the beginning. The short timeline meant we had to work swiftly at the beginning of the project to assemble the required personnel. Also, working closely with other contractors involved in the project - such as the building contractor, vessel delivery contractor and structural steel erector teams etc would be critical. Maintaining an operating facility was also critical to the client, careful planning was imperative to avoid any unexpected disruptions to the existing plant.

Leadership in SafetySafety was a key consideration for the project and it invested heavily, undertaking over 1,500 hours of safety training, over 500 toolbox talks and weekly safety inspections and internal auditing. The lost time injury frequency rate of .59 for approximately 20 thousand man hours of work done was a vast improvement over previous contracts and well below the industry average of 28.

TRIPLENINE was mandated by Baxter Aust to install a new wet product mix room at their Toongabbie expansion. This two stage process consisted of full off-site assembly and on site installation.

A major contributing factor to Baxter choosing to engage TRIPLENINE was the ability for us the complete the first stage process of assembling all process tanks, equipment and piping in our workshop, thereby significantly decreasing critical downtime and concurrent project delays. The proposal put forward by our management team allowed the client to bring forward their completion date and reduce their project overrun significantly.

Stage 2 was installation of all new process equipment and integration of the new piping to the existing process systems, all of the integration works was carried out of production hours to avoid downtime to the existing plant, careful planning was carried to execute critical cut in's safely and on time.

All product contact tube was 100% orbital welded and 90% internally inspected, full QA documentation was compiled throughout the build phase.

A TRIPLENINE & TFG partnership

This project was carried out as a Joint Venture between TFG Pty and TRIPLENINE (TFG/999 JV). The JV was contracted by Ziemann, based in Germany, to install the full process system for the brewery - including packaging. On this project, the TFG/999 JV completed a full installation of the brewhouse, cellar and fermentation vessels. On top of this, the JV also completed all other equipment such as pumps, heat exchangers, valves and instruments - all critical equipment needed to complete the brewing process.

All in all, this required approximately 24km of pipework with the majority of welding being completed by specialists in sanitary welding.

The TFG/999 JV engaged tradesmen who met the highest quality industry standards to ensure the objective of the Bluetongue Brewery installation. As well as the sanitary welding specialists, the Joint Venture partners had fitters and electricians on site, as well as a Project Management team.

For the majority of the project, the JV supplied around 50 crew - increasing to 60 upon installation of the bottling plant.

The biggest challenge faced by the Joint Venture partners was the fact the project required complete installation and commissioning within an 8 month time frame which was achieved.

TRIPLENINE was contracted by Hooker Cockram builders to supply a turn key WFI water production system and distribution loop. The design was based on client URS. The system consisted of a 500L per hour RO system, feeding the RO water to the WFI unit. The distribution loop was set to run hot at a consistant 65 degrees. A secondary loop was installed fed from the main loop which cooled the water to required user points.

TRIPLENINE also carried out structural and architectural packages of work for Hooker Cockram for this project, this consisted of mezzanine floor supports, vessel floor penetration rings, stair handrails and protection barriers.

TRIPLENINE was also contracted by GEA Colby to install all powder production equipment and process piping. All preassemble systems were carefully positioned and fixed in place, installation of process piping and CIP piping commenced once the equipment was installed, all process and CIP piping was orbitally welded and documented to form full traceability as per client specifications.

TRIPLENINE was contracted by Yuanda Aust. to design detail, construct and install a new Feng Shui approved canopy over the new star city casino main entrance.

The project consisted of 3 main parts:- the main canopy - measuring 21 x 7.5 Metres and weighing in at 7.5 tonne;- two main support fingers - each 6.5 x 4 Metres at a weight of 4 tonne each; and- the support collars which fixed to the existing concrete building columns.

All up, 15.5 tonnes of of '316' type Stainless steel was used to construct the new canopy.

The main canopy and support fingers were fabricated in our Silverwa-ter workshop and all transported in one piece to The Star site.

TRIPLENINE contracted K&W Haulage to take care of the critical movements of each of the overwidth components, this was carried out with careful planning, precision driving and zero incidents.
