Dear Resident CITYLINK TULLA WIDENING: MOONEE PONDS CREEK BRIDGE WIDENING, MOONEE PONDS / BRUNSWICK WEST We are writing to inform you about major construction works that will take place over the coming months in your area as part of the CityLink Tulla Widening project. As you may be aware, work on the CityLink Tulla Widening project is underway and involves adding lanes and other measures to improve the flow of traffic across the 24 kilometre section of freeway from the CityLink tunnels to Melbourne Airport. The project will also provide travel time savings per trip between Melbourne Airport and the West Gate Freeway during peak periods. The project will deliver a safer, more reliable freeway. Generally, an additional lane is being added in each direction, as well as upgrades at key interchanges including Bell Street, Mount Alexander Road/Flemington Road and on the Bolte Bridge to West Gate Freeway entry ramp. CPB Contractors is the construction contractor for the Bulla Road to Power Street section of the project. When works will occur Major works will occur from May to September 2016. They will be scheduled between 7am to 6pm Monday to Saturday. On occasion, we may need to work outside of these time frames to ensure public and worker safety. We will notify you advance of any changes to these hours. CITYLINK TULLA WIDENING: MOONEE PONDS CREEK BRIDGE WIDENING, MOONEE PONDS / BRUNSWICK WEST

We are writing to inform you about major construction works that will take place over the coming months in your area as part of the CityLink Tulla Widening project.

What we are doing Over the coming months major construction works will start on the new Moonee Ponds Bridge and additional lanes on CityLink, including: Installation of a temporary noise wall in the emergency lane of the freeway, as shown in blue on the map

above Demolition of the existing noise wall, bridge roadside beam and concrete barriers on Moonee Ponds Bridge Installation of new bridge beams Bored piling and concrete works to strengthen and support the newly widened Moonee Ponds Creek Bridge Construction of new permanent noise wall to replace the temporary noise wall at this location.

What you may notice during construction While these works will not impact your property, you may notice: Noise from heavy equipment and vehicles in use around Moonee Ponds Creek, such as the piling rig, non-

destructive digging truck, excavators, cranes, trucks and site vehicles Vibration may be felt during various activities Night works and changed traffic conditions on CityLink Construction personnel at work
