PICTURE A PARABLE:

24 Now Thomas (also known as Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not

with the disciples when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him,

“We have seen the Lord!”

But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my

finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with

them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them

and said, “Peace be with you!” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and

put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have

believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

30 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are

not recorded in this book. 31 But these are written that you may believe that

Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may

have life in his name.

“believe” (v. 48, 50, 53): πιστεύω (pisteuō) To be persuaded of, to rely upon, to trust

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

PASTOR’S POINTS:

1. When a person prophesies his own death and resurrection

(and then pulls it off), I just go with whatever he says.

2.If coming to faith is hard for you, you’re not alone.

3.True life is found in the name of Jesus.

4.No matter what difficulties you’re going through, the tomb is

still empty.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

•What’s one of your favorite Easter memories? What are some Easter traditions your family shares?

• Read John 20:24-25. Pastor Josh talked about how faith is easy for some people while more difficult for others, like Thomas. Has faith been easy for you, or has it been hard to come to? Why or why not?

• Read John 20:28. How has the resurrection of Jesus changed your life? How has it changed the way you see God, yourself, others, even death?

永活的盼望

Josh 牧師說他喜歡約翰將多馬的觀點記錄下來，原因是 並不總是人人都

很容易跨出信心的一步。他說我們將會感謝透過多馬的眼睛去看耶穌復活

的事。多馬不是多疑，他是謹慎。耶穌沒有斥責多馬，而是讓他詢問和自

行證實。在今日，這是一個極大的提醒: 神不會因你難以跨出信心的一步

而譴責你， 當你誠實地尋找真理時，你終將會回轉向神。

我們今天雖不能聚在教會，但就是約翰見證了耶穌死裡復活這第七個神蹟，

讓我們仍能歡欣慶祝復活節並充滿盼望。這個永恆生命的訊息,已改變我們

生命，也將繼續改變這個世界。

牧師講道重點:

1. 當有人預言說他自己會從死裡復活(然後也證實了),我就會去信他

所說的一切

2. 若你對跨出信心的一步有困難 要知其實並非只有你是如此

3. 奉耶穌的名 才能找到真正的生命

26 過了八日，門徒又在屋裏，多馬也和他們同在。門都關了。耶穌來站在當中說：

疑惑，總要信！」

28 多馬說：「我的主，我的神！」

29 耶穌對他說：「你因看見了我才信，那沒有看見就信的有福了！」
