2011

Registration Registration for Track 1 or Track 2 is $575. An additional $320 covers all room and board. Institute commuters can pay $115 for two meals a day (lunch and dinner). A single day rate of $175 includes registration and 2 meals. To see single day course offerings, check the Institute schedule. Registration for Track 3 is $99 for all courses, $25 for meals (lunch and dinner).

The Institute has trained more than 500 professionals worldwide since its inception in 2002 and has a faculty body of 85 experts in the field.

BuildaBridge Institute is a training and applied research academy designed to prepare practitioners to integrate the arts effectively in education and community development. Now celebrating its 10

th anniversary, the Institute is an

intensive 5 day experience that provides opportunities for professional growth by teaching arts based tools for healing and empowerment, and efficient ways to implement them to better serve those in need. Artists, teachers, social service professionals, youth workers, community and congregational leaders, non-profit

personnel are welcome to attend.

Courses

Courses for the Institute are in four categories: Foundational Theory, Arts Management and Education, Applied Arts and Collaborative Art-Making. All courses are offered in a five-day residency; however, on-line courses and podcasts are in development.

10th Anniversary Celebration In order to highlight the accomplishments of BuildaBridge Institute Alumni and special guest artists, a gallery exhibit is planned for Sunday afternoon at the close of the Institute. Alumni and special guests will display their artwork, information about their field of work, and how the concepts learned at the Institute are applicable in their life, experiences, and work.
