Bread is a constant - not cyclical We cannot imagine life without

bread even if we “reframe” life into the Mayan Calender (End of Time)

BREAD REFRAMED Bread seems to affect all our senses, including the most

important sense our “sixth sense” called…..

“OUR SENSE OF VALUE” How do we value bread…is it what we pay for it or is there

something deeper?

Worth a few cents?

Worth $100?

Worth its weight in Gold?

Page 9: Bread project 1

BREAD HAS VALUE! A loaf from the bakery costs anywhere from $1.99-$3.99.

The purchase of bread helps the bakery - helping the economy, creating a job for somebody trying to make a living, promoting small business.

The purchase of that one loaf of bread helps the person who bought it - fed a hungry family, fed the homeless/ hungry, etc.

So the action of purchasing just one loaf of bread, created

"x" outcomes

BREAD HAS VALUE! In Israel, the most usual phrase in work-related

demonstrations is "lekhem, avoda" [bread, work], Bread became a euphemism for money, "bread-winner“ "the greatest thing since sliced bread". In Russia in 1917, Lenin and his fellow Bolsheviks promised

"Peace, Land, and Bread.” The term "breadbasket" is often used to denote an agriculturally productive region.

In Slavic cultures bread and salt is offered as a welcome to all guests.

In India, life's basic necessities are often referred to as "roti, kapra aur makan" (bread, cloth, and house).ke other foods, choosing the "right" kind of bread is used as a type of social signalling, to let others know, for example, that the person buying expensive bread is financially secure, or the person buying whatever type of bread that the current fashions deem most healthful is a health-conscious consumer
