More ExperienceO Although we often work together both of us have our own
experiences to bring to your birth. we have each delivered two of our own children and supported many other women through their births; each of these experiences have been unique and have added to our birth knowledge. We also each have different training and have spent countless hours researching and reading about the birth topics that interest us most. When all of our resources are combined our team experience is quite extensive.
A Doula per ParentO Having two doulas allows you and your partner the
opportunity to both feel continuously supported. We will make it our job to see that both of you are getting what you need to make this the best possible experience it can be. Whether that is making sure you both stay hydrated or coaching you through a medical procedure, having two doulas ensures that no one is left feeling scared, confused, or alone during this incredibly emotional event.
More StrengthO Doula care can involve a lot of muscle strength. This
physical support that many women need in labor can be hard on a support team. With two sets of muscles added to your existing birth team, you will have access to all the back rubs, hip squeezes, supported squats, counter pressure and other such physical support that you need to make your experience as comfortable as possible.
More StaminaO No one can predict the length of a labor and birth and
all of your birth team should be prepared for whatever amount of time it takes you and your baby to complete this monumental transition. As two doulas we will have flexibility to rest when needed taking turns with each other and the rest of the birth team to provide you with the absolute best of care.Read More: http://www.natureandnurturebirth.com/birth-doula-services/partner-doulas/
