◦ The students will be able to correlate the information found in the book with the information discovered in Task 1, combining and composing that information generating both follower and leader complementary traits

Break up into your 5 assigned groups

Bring your copy of One Minute Manager Builds High Performing Teams, book by Ken Blanchard.

Take the Blank Four Squares in your notes and compare them to what you find on pg. 64 of the book.

Find the traits of leaders as well as followers for the specific blocks

Be sure to combine the correct levels of leader interaction with the level needed to match the abilities of follower

Then complete a new drawing depicting the graphic and what your group comes up with to help remember the concepts.

Proper Situational Leadership should lend itself to well-run groups with common goals.

Followership levels and Leadership matching when done correctly creates an environment where Group Goals are met in an efficient manner.

One Minute Manager Builds High Performing Teams is a text that can be utilized for both members of work groups or their facilitators.

There are 4 types of Situational Leadership : Directing, Coaching, Supporting and Delegating

There are 4 stages of followership: Orientation Dissatisfaction, Integration, Production.

Situational Leadership allows for the Leader to modify the application of techniques depending upon the current state of the group / follower.

Situational Leadership is The leadership style utilized in a group setting in relationship to the available resources or capabilities of those resources
