President’s Message
As we approach the end of our fiscal year, and club activities move to the winter season, I want to thank everyone for a magnificent year! We celebrated our 50th anniversary in grand style, significant improvements were made to our facilities, member participation in all areas was very high, we have a talented, hard working and dedicated staff and our financial condition is strong. The Board of Trustees , and all committees, have continued to move Bedens Brook to the level of being the premier club in our region and we owe all those who contributed a big thank you! It is a pleasure to be part of Bedens Brook and please do not hesitate to let me know anything I can do to make your membership experience more enjoyable. Sincerely , Tom Bracken, President

We were thrilled with how many people had fun with the Trivia contest at the 50th Anniversary Party. It was a close race and so many people had such great answers, but the win goes to the Shaffer's for getting almost all of the answers cor-
rect! And the photo contest kept you all guessing! Clearly her photography skills are coming in handy, because the pho-to contest win goes to Pam Kelsey! There were some very funny misses from the other submissions. Both winners will
receive a fabulous Bedens Brook Gift.
We are glad you all had fun with them. Thank you to all!!

The golf season has begun to wind down but our late fall weather has been spectacular. Please take advantage of the time we have left to use your 6-pack pre-paid greens fees or take advantage of our ½ rate guest fees through the end of the sea-son. Also please be reminded that we have our “Day after Thanksgiving Scramble” Friday November 27th. Breakfast is served at 9:30am with the 9-hole scramble starting at 10:30am. Event is followed with a simple buffet lunch. Please sign up for this event by emailing me or on the sign-up sheet located outside the men’s locker room. The holiday shopping season is around the corner. Please think of me for all your golf needs. I have a great selection of sweaters, shirts and outerwear plus accessories for the golfer in your family. Stop by soon while sizes are still available and remember items such as GPS watches, range finders
and golf bags sell out quickly.
In November the golf operations are open Tuesday through Sunday 8am to dark. In December the golf shop will be open
Wednesday though Sunday with our final day being open Saturday December 19th.
I hope to see many of you in the coming weeks. Thanks for you support of the BBC golf program.

Dear Members,
It is so hard to believe it is November and the holidays are upon us!!! Hopefully you have received your postcard invitation for the December 4th holiday party by now. Please get your reservations in early to ensure seating and get your dancing shoes ready! Also, there are many other fun events coming up too, please reserve for them, the dates and times of which can be found
in this newsletter. Plus, of course, dining on our porch, family dining room and exciting new grill room.
Look for news on an exciting inaugural event coming in January – a young members’ party, spearheaded by our events commit-
tee’s newest member – Lindsay Bracken. Thank you, Lindsay!
Looking forward to seeing you all around the club this month. And as always, please let Craig, me or any member of our House
committee know if you have any suggestions.
Regards,
Meg Helms, on behalf of the House Committee

The golf course aeration took place on October 19-21. This year we aerated the tees, greens, and fairways during the same time. The weather cooperated and the aeration is already healing. This time of the year, much of the effort for Dave Walsh is leaf removal. The golf course is also getting prepared for winter. The Committee has met with our golf course architect, Andrew Green, who is preparing a Master Plan. The Master Plan contains many suggestions for our course. We will continue to
work on the Master Plan.
A special thanks to Dave Walsh and his crew for keeping our course in excellent shape this fall.

Congratulations to all of our tournament winners this year. Our attendance was up in all of our events. We look for-ward to a robust tournament schedule for 2016. Should you have any questions, suggestions or concerns, please contact me or
any member of the Committee.
