HOW TO ADD AN EVENT
Getting Started (Video) We use The Event Calendar Pro!
Step 2: Choose Categories
• Who is the event for?
• Categories let you target your audience
• Always check ALL
Ex: Tumbleweed Tuesday @ Ale House
Ex: Historic Farmers’ Market
Time & Date, Location, Organizer, Cost
• Recurring event?
• Custom… Weekly Every (1) Weeks Check Days
Email me at [email protected] if you need help!
• Lots of saved venues to choose from!

• Event Organizer
• You can leave as much info as you want, or none!
• Event Cost!
• Leave blank to hide the field.
• FREE? Enter a 0
Step 5: Social Broadcast
What to Do What it Looks Like
• Select Yes and your event will automatically tweet from @EventsQueens!
• You can customize the tweet after you hit Publish.
• Send a shout-out to #queensu or #ygk (hashtag for Kingston)
