Awakening Souls, Transforming Lives!
MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD Interviews of the ministerial candidates, Reverends Grace Caputo, Ron Palumbo, and James Stacey, are now completed. Next, the Search Committee will submit its recommendations to the Board, which is expected to make a decision in March. Thanks to you, the congregation, for your participation in the Search; your questions and evaluations are very important to us in reaching a decision. We ask that you continue to af-firm: "Divine order is working in, through and as us to manifest the Right and Perfect Spiritual Leader for Unity Christ Church." In the absence of a minister, the Board manages the church as best we can with the support of the Office Manager, Judy Lindow; Music Minister, Alan Ernst; and various UCC committees and teams. With their help, our Sunday Worship Service continues to advance UCC's mission of: "...inspiring and empowering individuals to experience God and transform the world." Additionally, ongoing church initiatives include:
Reinvigorated, Prayer Chaplains Resumption of Prosperity Bank Program Return of "Make a True Lent" Class Repair of Retaining Wall First Sunday Potluck
Reminder: the minister, the Board, and you, the congregation, are Unity Christ Church. We, the Board, Rudolph Clay, Lawrence Johnson, Kellie Mayhew, Juankee McKinney and Carolyn Perry, invite your questions and suggestions. We ask that you volunteer for, at least, one Committee or Team: Audio/Visual, Building, Finance, Fundraising, Hospitality, Landscape, Lending Library, Nominations, Outreach, Platform Assistant, Public Relations (inc. website), Youth Ed...etc. and that you hold us in your prayers. We are honored to serve you, our Spiritual Community... Blessings to You All The Board of Trustees

THOUGHTS FROM THE HEART
I have been contemplating the Universe and imagining how it all came to be. I have also been wondering about all those enlightened Beings and how they came to know such great mysteries. I am awed by the Sages, Seers, Proph-ets and Revelators and enamored with how they came to “Know that they Know” regarding the Spiritual world. I am equally fascinated at how lovingly they were able to convey this information to all of humanity. Conversely, I even begin to wonder if such profound Wisdom could possibly evolve from within, and flow freely through me?
As these Ideas move through my consciousness, I recall the words of our Co-founder, Charles Fillmore as he speaks on the subject of Wisdom. Accord-ing to Mr. Fillmore in The Revealing Word, “Wisdom is Intuitive knowing, spiritual intuition; the voice of God within us as the source of understanding; mental action based on the Christ Truth within. Wisdom includes judgment, discrimination, intuition and all of the departments of mind that come under knowing”. Mr. Fillmore further states, “That wisdom and understanding comes from the Spirit of Christ within us. The price that we must pay for the attainment of divine wisdom and understanding is the letting go of the per-sonal self with its’ limited beliefs.”
Wow, so from this explanation, it seems to me that each and every one of us embody this capacity! At the center of our Being, is the Christ of God, just waiting to be set free. It appears that at this point, we have a choice to make; to be guided by the Wisdom and Understanding that comes from Within (following our inner knowing and intuition) or continue to be led by our limited personal ways of understanding and being. It also becomes apparent that if we want to allow our spiritual discernment and intuition to blossom and grow, that we must be willing to consciously let go of our personal self and its beliefs, thereby allowing the Christ Within to transform and renew our minds. This we do by being willing to let go of all the false beliefs and ways of being that have bound us to our sense of limitation and has not allowed us to grow into the Christ that God intended us to Be.
So as we let go of our limited ways of thinking and being and allow the voice of God to speak in us through us and as us, we awake to the Essence of our True Being: the Christ of God, filled to overflowing with the same wisdom, knowledge and understanding that has come through all the enlightened Be-ings of the past. We will then be able to ‘Know that we Know”. As this voice of God speaks clearly through us, we can then take on the responsibility of sharing it with the world in whatever way the Spirit Within guides us.
As we allow this new revelation of Wisdom to be absorbed into our con-sciousness, we must ask ourselves a two-fold question: 1. Are we willing to pay the price of letting go of the limitations of our personal self; and 2. Are we truly committed and willing to be patient and persistent enough to allow the Allness of God to evolve the spiritual discernment and intuition that exists within our Being? If so, then we must know and accept that this can be done by daily and consciously inviting this Knowingness to Guide and direct our lives.
Let Us Daily Affirm: I Am One with all Knowledge in the Universe Now.
Blessings As You Spiritually Unfold, Juankee J. McKinney

From the Prayer Ministry: Dear Friends,
This year March will bring us another season of Lent. Be sure to ”Keep a True Lent” during this time. Lent begins the process where we prepare for the resurrection of Christ from his death on the cross,. We know that life is eternal, and because Christ demonstrated his life after death, so can we. Though we no longer see Christ, the presence of his Holy Spirit remains with us. The divinity of Christ in each of us gives us the ability to use all o of God-given faculties.
This month’s faculty is Wisdom (James), and we celebrate choosing wisely. Truly any choice we make needs the power of wisdom with it. Think for a moment of Love’s choices made without wisdom – I call that love run amuck. Too many people fail to accompany wisdom in their loving experiences. The power of wisdom guides us to make wise choices.
Scripture for the Month Proverbs: 8:1-11 Wisdom’s Call
Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice? 2 At the highest point along the
way, where the paths meet, she takes her stand; 3 beside the gate leading into the city, at the entrance, she
cries aloud: 4 “To you, O people, I call out; I raise my voice to all mankind.
5 You who are simple, gain pru-
dence; you who are foolish, set your hearts on it. 6
Listen, for I have trustworthy things to say; I open my lips to speak what is right.
7 My mouth speaks what is true, for my lips detest wickedness.
8 All the words of my
mouth are just; none of them is crooked or perverse. 9 To the discerning all of them are right; they are up-
right to those who have found knowledge. 10
Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold,
11 for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her.
Affirmation for the Month:
Wisdom guides my thoughts, my words and my actions. I choose god’s wisdom to guide my life.
Prayer:
Lord may I bend to your gracious guidance of wisdom in my life. Open my eyes and my heart so I may see the way forward.
Yours in Christ, Mary E. Biggs, LUT

GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations. (Isaiah 61:11)
March 26 See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing
has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land. (Song of Solomon 2:11-12)

PROSPERITY BANK PROGRAM
BEGINNING MARCH 5TH
Prosperity Banks, My Per-sonal Investment Program. A gift to God is an investment in the law of good which always returns more than the equiva-lent of the gift. Jesus told us that if we would claim such re-turns we must love, ask, have faith and give. Daily do the fol-lowing: (1). Love God Love others Love yourself and re-lax! (2). Ask. Write your de-sire. (3). Expect a perfect solu-tion and do not worry! (4) Give thanks for that solution and put your gift in your Prosperity Bank. Prosperity Banks are located on the shelf in the Lobby and are collected on the first Sunday of the month. If you have any questions or need additional information on Pros-perity Banks, please contact the church office at (314) 727-6478.
SILENT UNITY PRAYER SERVICE
MARCH 2ND AT 11 AM IN THE PRAYER ROOM
“It is not I, but the Christ within, that does the work.” For many years, every Thursday morning at 11:00, throughout the U. S. and the world, Unity Truth seek-ers have been joined in prayer, affirming inner peace, spiritual guidance, health, prosperity, and world peace. Mary Biggs, LUT, would like to invite those who wish to pray during the day-time to join her beginning on Thursday, March 2nd from 11:00–11:30, downstairs in the Prayer Room. Please come and help us fill our wonderful church with even more powerful energy of healing prayer! And if you cannot be with us in the physi-cal, you can always download the Silent Unity Prayer Service from the Unity website and pray along with us wherever you are. Prayer is the language of Spirit!
