MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD The Board of Trustees is overflowing with joy and enthusiasm as we enter the month of March. This month the Board has planned a number of activities that we know will not only be informa-tional, but very enlightening as well. We start out the month of March with our monthly pot-luck (March 3, 2018), but in addition to the tasty food we are having a presentation about the new harassment policy that has been developed for our church. Following the presentation, the Board will be presenting the results of the three-session visioning process that we held in January 2019. You all will be awed and pleased by the results of this process.

In keeping with the healing and prayer foundation of Unity, the Board has chosen to implement a number of programs focused on enacting these principles .On March 4, 2019 we will be starting our Noon day meditation service. This will be a Silent Unity Prayer Service and a live meditation held in the sanctuary of our church, each Monday at noon. Following the medita-tion service there will be an opportunity for individual prayers for healing as well. This medita-tion service will also be recorded and aired at noon on Wednesday and Friday of each week.

We are also implementing a daily prayer/meditation service where all who desire will receive a daily Spiritual thought via text at the same time each day. All will be joining in One Mind as we pray and meditate together. More information regarding joining this activity and the process will be coming to you soon.

On Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 1:00-3:00 P.M., we invite the congregation to join the Board of Trustees as we focus on forming teams who will develop ideas and recommenda-tions regarding the Spiritual Fortification and Fiscal Stabilization of our Spiritual Community. We would love to have the full participation of our Community. So please, call the church office and let us know if you will attend. A light lunch will be provided.

As we continue to move forward in Faith we continue to, “Behold the Christ” in one another and we know that our Spiritual Community is truly blessed.

Thoughts From The Heart

I have been thinking about the Idea that, “All that I need is Within Me”, and simply wondering, “What

does it really mean?” Does it mean that I have all the knowledge of the Universe within my Being?

Or could it be that ”I AM One” with all the Wisdom of the Sages and It is just waiting to burst forth

through me? Or perhaps could it be that I have the ability to do just about anything I want to do,

knowing that no lack or limitation exists within me?

As I contemplate all these various positions, the one Idea that flows consistently into my mind is that

all of these Ideas have to be True because, “I Know” that I have the Wisdom of God Within my very

Being. As I think about this Idea that I Am the Wisdom of God in expression, another flood of Ideas

enter my mind. I begin to wonder,” If I Am the Wisdom of God, how do I express It? And how am I

to know that I AM indeed expressing God’s Wisdom? And furthermore, how does God’s Wisdom

differ from common everyday wisdom?”

Well to get some answers to these questions, I turn to the writings of Charles Fillmore, our Spiritual

Mentor and Co-Founder. In the Revealing Word, Mr. Fillmore states that Wisdom is “Intuitive know-

ing; Spiritual Intuition; the Voice of God within as the Source of our understanding; mental action

based on the Christ Truth Within. He further states that, “Wisdom includes judgment, discrimination,

intuition, and all the departments of mind that come under the head of Knowing. This “Knowing” ca-

pacity transcends intellectual knowledge. Spiritual discernment always places Wisdom above the

other faculties of the mind and reveals that knowledge and intelligence are auxiliary to understanding.

What an excellent explanation! It appears that Wisdom expresses as Intuitive Knowing, where we

have the experience of Knowing that We Know. It even expresses as that Still Small Voice within

that guides us, directs us and shows us the way to go. It appears that the Wisdom of God guides our

judgment and helps us to discriminate between that which is Truth and that which is Error. This intui-

tive knowing appears to transcend our human intellectual understanding and allows us to think our

thoughts in alignment with God.

As I think about all of this, I begin to know and understand that All I need to know is Within me, be-

cause the very Presence of God is my very Being. All the knowledge of the Universe resides within

me because I live and move and breathe and have my very being in the All Knowing Presence of God

Within. And Yes, the Wisdom of the Sages is a part of me too because they were inspired by the very

Spirit of God that moves Within me and you. And of course, I have the ability to do and be anything I

choose, because the Omnipotence of God is the very essence of my Being.

So as we persist in our times of prayer and meditation, and become more consciously aware of the

Presence of God that resides Within, let us know that we can express the Wisdom of God that has so

graciously been provided to us as God’s children. And as we allow this Wisdom of God to flow

through our Being let us “Know that we Know” and choose to allow this ‘Knowingness” of God to

express in all that we think, say and do!

Let Us Daily Affirm: I Am One With All Knowledge in the Universe Now

From the Prayer Ministry

Dear Friends,

This year March will bring us another season of Lent with Ash Wednesday be-ginning the season on March 6. Be sure to ”Keep a True Lent” during this time. Lent begins the process where we prepare for the resurrection of Christ from his death on the cross. We know that life is eternal, and because Christ demon-strated his life after death, so can we. Though we no longer see Christ, the presence of his Holy Spirit remains with us. The divinity of Christ in each of us gives us the ability to use all our God-given faculties.

This month’s faculty is Wisdom (James), and we celebrate choosing wisely. We have many opportunities in life to use the faculty of wisdom, and none greater than with love.

Affirmation for the Month –

I use divine judgment and wisdom in all my thoughts, words and actions. I choose God’s wisdom to guide my life.

Prayer –

I claim, accept and express God’s wisdom in all that I am and all that I do. God’s gracious wisdom is guiding me now.
