ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
Bishop Peter A. Libasci invites all couples celebrating an anniversary in 2019 of 5, 25 or 50 years, to attend the Fall Wedding
Anniversary Mass. This celebration will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at 2:00
p.m., at St. Joseph Cathedral in Manchester. To register, please contact the parish office at 669-7444 by September 20,
2019. The parish office will gather and submit all necessary information. Once
registration has been completed, all registrants will receive an invitation to this special celebration. Couples celebrating
anniversaries of 10, 15, 20, 30, 35, 40, 45 or 55+ years will be asked to register later for a
spring celebration. To all other married couples, congratulations and we look
forward to seeing you at this fall’s Wedding Anniversary Mass!

The Knights of Columbus Council # 12988 of St Elizabeth Seton Parish is sponsoring a blood drive to assist the
American Red Cross in maintaining a supply of blood. The Blood Drive will be held in the St. Elizabeth Seton
Parish Activity Center on Friday, August 9th from 2:00pm – 7:00pm.
Basic Eligibility Requirements Most healthy adults can give blood through the American Red Cross. You meet the basic eligibility requirements
if you:
are at least 17 years old weigh at least 110 pound
are in good health on the day of donation have no history of exposure to hepatitis or AIDS
your last blood donation was at least 56 days (8 weeks) ago
It is recommended that donors schedule their appointments rather than walking-in by either visiting the Red Cross
web site at www.redcrossblood.org, clicking on “Enter Sponsor Code”, entering sponsor code 8088, and follow-
ing the site’s instructions; or, by calling 1-800-448-3543.

Bereavement Support Group
Have you or someone you know lost a loved one? Our next Bereavement Support Group will be begin on Wednesday, September 4th. Meetings will be
held every Wednesday in September at 7:00 pm in Room 10 of the Parish Activity Center.
All are welcome.
No pre-registration is required.
Mahrajan 2019 is a Middle Eastern food festival and will be held on the grounds of Our Lady of the Cedars Melkite Catholic Church at 140 Mitchell St., Manchester NH on Friday August 16 from 5-10 PM, Saturday August
17 from 12-10 PM, and Sunday August 18 from 12-6 PM. The event features a variety of Lebanese food, live music, dancing, religious gifts, church tours, a petting zoo, and other entertainment for children. DJ Kibar will
provide the music Friday night, and Saturday night and Sunday will feature live bands. It is a great event for the family, and admission is free! For more information, go to www.bestfestnh.com .

FALL FAITH FORMATION PROGRAMS
Reminder: Registration for school year faith formation programs is on-going. If your child did
not participate in one of this summer’s programs, please make sure to register for the school
year program. Even if your child has participated in the sacramental preparation for
Confirmation, he/she needs to remain active to ensure we are able to keep you
up-to-date with important information and resources.

Service Opportunities for Adults/Families
Café 1269 St. Elizabeth Seton Parishioners have been
preparing, delivering, and serving a meal on
the 2nd Sunday of each month to Café 1269 in
Manchester. Do you and/or your family have a couple of
hours on the 2nd Sunday of the month? OR you don't have
time, but want to be part of this outreach program by
donating food or money. You can find links to sign up

New Horizons A soup kitchen and homeless shelter in Man-
chester is looking for help on the 2nd and 4th
Sundays of the month. Needed: People willing to pick up
surplus food from Trader Joes and deliver to New
Horizons between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. To get involved,

New Horizon’s also receives five shipments from area
supermarkets and needs lots of help sorting food and
making boxes for distribution. Mondays, 8:30-11:30.
