Welcome to Y Day Camp!Think outside, where no box is required for kids to laugh, learn, explore and grow in the outdoors, while creating memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Kids discover not just the wonders of day camp, but the joy of exploring their unique traits, talents and interests and the power of sharing their strengths and skills to benefit the group. That’s why 2,600 kids in the Oklahoma City area attend the Y’s summer day camps; to belong, achieve and build relationships.

Our Cause is strengthening our community. Our Mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body. Our Focus is youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

What does that mean? It means that we are working side-by-side with our neighbors to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. That we live by principles rooted in faith. That we collaborate and partner with community organizations to provide programming benefiting our community’s youth, families, individuals and seniors.

We are inclusive. We welcome everyone, from all walks of life. Our financial assistance program ensures that everyone can participate in Y programs, despite their inability to pay. Financial assistance is provided through our Annual Fundraising Campaign.

At Y Day Camp, caring and professional role models are committed to helping kids build confidence and character. The loyalty, dedication and professionalism of our highly trained staff is extraordinary. Our staff meet strict Y qualifications, as well as undergo and pass a background check. Y Day Camp staff are 18 years or older and have been trained or certified in the following:

Parents look to the Y for a safe and secure environment where children can learn practical social skills and develop positive values. Our reputation for consistency and safety, as well as our focus on youth development, gives parents the confidence they need to trust us with their children. To ensure the well-being of each child, we review our health and safety policies on an ongoing basis. Our low staff-to-child ratio also allows our staff to give each camper the attention and guidance necessary to create a positive and safe environment.
