There’s a magic in our neighbourhood, it’s in our Asda store,

An entity resides there, who I’ve never seen before …

Just look at Asda’s prices-they’re dropping very fast …

I think they’re being managed by The Ghost of Prices past!

The store glows with excitement and you know Christmas is near,

And when you reach the checkout there, you have no need to fear …

My mum gives me a lovely smile and never seems to nag,

I think this Ghost of Prices Past, has Christmas in the bag ….

She’s bound to get that feeling when she sees their lovely prices,
