MIXED MEDIA AND COLLAGE WORKSHOP WITH ELSPETH McCOMBETwo day workshop: 12 - 4pm Saturday 10 & Sunday 11 FebruaryCreate an abstract, semi-abstract or representational artwork drawing inspiration from works in the Chromophilia exhibition.Participants will use a limited palette of black and white plus one colour with a variety of painting and drawing techniques and collage. COLOUR YOUR LIFE WATERCOLOUR WORKSHOP WITH ANN CLARKETwo day workshop: 12 - 4pm Saturday 17 & Sunday 18 February Explore the evocative qualities of colour to create mood and emotion. Using watercolour, participants will investigate how colours interact, and how to develop harmonious combinations to create a painting using a still from a movie or a music video. VESSELS OF COLOUR FELT WORKSHOP WITH ANITA LARKINSunday 27 May, 12 - 4pmWool fibres can come in a huge array of inspiring colours. During the felting process wool fibres intermingle with each other causing exciting and unexpected blending of colours. Participants will make a felted vessel that combines the wool colours together.Draw inspiration from artworks in Chromophilia and make your own colourful patterns and designs that are embedded within the felt vessel.Cost: $100/$90 Friends.
