The property was built in 1903 by local builders Berry & Vincent, and has many interesting and unique character features

including original plaster coving, ornate ceiling mouldings, timber wall panelling, and fine period fireplaces etc. The present owners have spent a considerable time modernising the property as one can see from the photos. The large kitchen is very well appointed having been designed and fitted by the well-known local firm Ashgrove, and has an extensive range of fitted units, plus breakfast bar, and integrated appliances including built in microwave, fridge/freezer, and space for range style cooker.

The house is constructed mainly of stone elevations with attractive brick quoins and Portland stone window lintels. Central heating is provided by a gas-fired boiler with a newly fitted mains pressure hot water cylinder.
