Opening Ceremony of Athletics Games of IPGKTAA, Kuala Lipis, Pahang

Annual Athletics Games of IPG Campus Tengku Ampuan Afzan Pahang held on

15th March at Astaka IPG Campus Tengku Ampuan Afzan. All the training teacher, staff

and letchure took part on it. The preparations are made much in advance. A day earlier

the tent is put up. Chairs are arranged in rows along the boundary wall of the ground so

that the invited letchurer and training teacher of IPG Campus Tengku Ampuan Afzan

and non-participating can sit and watch the happenings.

Every training teacher were competed in at least one event for the chance to win

points for their house team. The overall winning team then received the cup. Organisers

are helped to run and judge the activities. After lunch they set up three main activities

involving relay, letchurer game, 200 meter and high jump. Each training teachers was

encouraged to strive for their personal best and competed against fellow. The day was

completely off-timetable. The day was completely off-timetable. Lunch was packed

lunch for all participant and supporters. The management linked to music to give boost

for the participant and supporter to get their point for their houses. The most important

person present in the school on this day is the chief guest who is invited to preside over

the function. . The Chief Guest unfurled the flag. He gave a short encouraging speech

and declared the sports meet open. The function began with the march past of all the

participating training teachers in their houses t-shirt. Then the race began. Our Gerko

letchurer blew the whistle for the race to began and another organizer from PISMP

SEM 5 volunteers noted the time with the help of a stop watch. A photographern took

the photos.  There were 100 metres, 200 metres and half a mile races. The organizer

celebrated our intra-school competition programme and linked with our inter house

competition. Ensure there is a balance between participation and competition – our

training teachers really enjoyed the competitive nature of the afternoon

My class mate named Panimalar took part in 200 metrs race. The most intresting

race of 50 metres was specially held for the After this there were the high jump and long

jump events. Rey Zen beat all others in high jump and broke the IPG records. Another

exciting event was the tug of war between the letchurer. Everyone eagerly watched this

new event as letchurer continued to pull hard to win. At the end of the day a special

medal ceremony was held giving gold, silver and bronze medals and participation

medals and certificates were given to all the participants. At the end the Chief Guest

disturbuted the prizes to the winners. Rey zen was declared the best athlete of the year.

He won a lot of prizes. The chief guest praised al the athletes and congratulated the

winner organizer.
