Thank you for taking on this exciting adventure to halfway across the world and thousands of years into the past!

You are a team of archaeologists who are going to Ancient Egypt to investigate the pyramids, pharaohs, and Egyptian culture. In this webquest you will be challenged with finding out about the details of some of the greatest mysteries of the Egyptian Civilization. Good luck!

Your Mission

First, choose a partner. Second, pick up a worksheet packet. Read the questions on the worksheets carefully before you begin so you know what facts to look for in your webquest.

Decide who will be the recorder and who will be the navigator.

Stay on task and follow the links carefully. You don’t want to get lost in Ancient Egypt!

When you have completed the worksheets, turn them in. Both archaeologists names should be at the top.

Completion Partial Credit will be given to those who partially finish within the time allotted.

Full Credit will be given to those who complete all questions on all worksheets.

Quality Partial credit will be given if answers are incorrect, incomplete, or contain errors.

Full Credit will be given to those who answer correctly and in complete sentences and contain no spelling or grammar errors.

The goal of this lesson was to learn about Ancient Egyptian life and contributions while also learning to use the internet and become more familiar with its navigation.

Additionally, the goal was to learn new vocabulary words.
