Bubble Theory• Explains how the multiple parallel universes

explained in the multiverse theory exist and interact with each other.

• Large membranous bubble, among an infinite number of other bubbles, rippling through the eleventh dimension.

• Some quantum physicists believe that a few of these bubbles actually exist less than a millimeter away from ours, but in another dimension.

• One major supporting factor is that gravity should be much stronger than it is.

Theory of Relativity

• Proposes that our universe includes four dimensions.

• First three are space and the fourth is spacetime.

• Explains that time is dependent on space.

Big Bang

• Explosion• Prior existence is unknown.• Foundation for the universe.• Edwin Hubble

String Theory• Very simple • Everything is made of tiny strings• Modern Technology doesn’t allow us• Sometimes called a theory of everything• Most promising candidate for a unified theory

M-Theory

• Extension of string theory.• Puts all of the string theories together.• 11 Dimensions• Such a theory might use membranes

instead of strings
