Places to Consider Placing Digital Ads
• Local online version of newspaper
• Local online classifieds
• Local business electronic newsletters

• Area high schools if possible

• Check with your vendors for availablesizes and prices
• Use simple animated .gifs whenpossible to get more informationto viewers
• Keep your total file size low

Standard leaderboard size is728 x 90 pixels.
Make a statement, grab their attention, then link them to the information that will give them the
direction to take action.Use an animated .gif to get more information to
viewers and try to keep your .gif file size under 45k. Not everyone has broadband…REALLY!
Components of a Good Landing Page

• Visual Aid such as a video
• Links for more information
Steps for a Perfect Landing
• Add Google Analytics Code so you can get visitation statistics
• If you use the same landing page for multiple advertising vendors, put the Analytics code in a separate redirector file…give each vendor their own link.
• Save as “dated” file name for your archives– then rewrite your “index.htm”
Short on time? Simply convert an existing marketing .pdf brochure.
Hyperlink to a printable version of the original .pdf file.
Make sure you have additional contact information on the page as it might be on the front of the brochure.
Keep it simple if possible
Make sure you have actions to take, linked directly.
Utilize emotion in your imagery if possible.
Communicate many events by easy to remember vanity URL on
