The history of tennis in Jordan dates back to the third decade of this century, it was practiced by the early pioneers who were acquainted to the game during their university studies.

Benefits from JTI program:

• Noticeable increase in the numbers of the participating kids in this programme

• Tournaments for red, orange& green format were conducted.

• Tennis activities in three different cities started to take place.

• JTI Program fed the national team with 3 good players that obtained international results.

Increase the number of the kids from 6 to 10 years of age to 300 players.

Open more tennis training centers for mini tennis programs outside Amman.

Spread more mini tennis tournaments in the clubs.

Points to be improved:

Financial difficulties for covering the cost of the program.

The most important achievement this year is Wining Davis Cup/ Asia Oceania Zone Group IV.

The national coach is the entitled person to accompany and supervise the qualified player for Asia ITF Team.
