Strengths• Being independent in most of the
educational programs• Great support from the ITF in most
of the projects• Present country government that
support sport and development programs• Sport law that gives us possibilities
for education and license recognition on national level (From the law of sport: “Sport pro’s” are persons that have at least high education in the filed of sport or license from the International sport federation)
Weaknesses• Weak economical situation in the country that can influent further sport development• Very passive Faculty of physical
education in tennis coaches education (tennis as subject is under recreation)• Coaches and clubs that doesn't
believe in license scheme• Not recognized education at
national level (government unsupported at the moment)
Opportunities• Governmental support for coaches education programs and licensing recognition
• Possibility for coaches education recognition in the ITF (bronze) and providing the certificates that will be accepted by the Macedonian government
• Possibility to receive further support from the ITF in coaches education programs
• Possibility to translate most of the books for coaches education
Threats• Due of being governmental institution, Faculty of physical education can block the licensing recognition and try to protect the education that they have/don't have
• Government can follow the present situation and suspend the education recognition
• Board of the federation that can stop the program due the lack of finances
• ITF will not recognize coaches education of Macedonia
Way forward• Modifying the system of education in MTF according to the ITF Syllabus
• Translation of most of the books and materials that can be used in coaches education
• Developing the competencies based education
• Determinate propaganda for License recognition in Macedonia
• Preparing of all the issues for coaches education recognition in the ITF
