• Use of correct ADS

• Human Factors training

Training Regulations

Phase 1 – Initial training in the basic military skills required by all

Service personnel.

Phase 2 – Initial specialist training that prepares Service personnel for

their first employment (eg Basic Aircraft Engineering training).

Phase 3 – Training that prepares Service personnel for further

employment with an increased skill base and/or responsibility. It also

encompasses training to meet career aspirations and professional

development

(eg equipment courses, engine operator training).

Use of correct ADS

• Reading correct procedures

Human Factors Training

All relevant DAE personnel should receive

Foundation level HF and Error Management (EM)

training, thereafter, those relevant personnel in

DAE assignments should receive HF and EM

continuation training every 2 years.

Human Factors Training

• Addressing units current HF issues

• No more than 15 people and last approximately

3 hours.

• Good facilitators
