Established in 1991, after successful Pilot Program.

Services provided through one, 5yr Franchise Agreement with a Private Contractor selected through RFP Process.

Texas Commercial Waste (TCW), is the current contractor. Contract expires – 1/31/2016.

Placing all recyclables un-sorted, in one bin.• 300 Emerald Forest Homes• Received carts 1/20-23• First bi-weekly collection 2/2• Same materials, adding cardboard and

paperboard• Increase in both participation and diversion.• Achieved increased volumes due to convenience.• Received Keep Brazos Beautiful Award on 9/23/2015.
