The history of the “Coca of Sant Joan”

• On the 23rd of June, Catalan people celebrate the bonfire night.

• That night we make bonfires and we light firecrackers.

• We have a meal with friends or family.

• The typical dessert is the “Coca de Sant Joan”

Ingredients for the mass:

•Flour•Water•Sugar•Salt•Yeast

Decorations:• Catalan Cream• Pine nuts• Sugar• Candied Fuit

• First, make the mass with the

ingredients and mix them.

• Then, flat the mass

• After, put over the mass candied fruit and Catalan cream.

• Finally, put in the oven.
