The Purpose of this presentation is to help configuring YP Quotes plug-ins and applications

Please use these guidelines to make the whole process of configuring YP Configuration easy and time efficient.

1.1 After installation, your SalesForce application picker at the top right should contain new YP Quotes application.

1.2 Configure a user to access YP Quotes application by assigning them a custom profile.

2.1 Edit opportunity page layout assignment.

2.2 Assign YP Quotes layout to the profile your YP Quotes user is configured with. Save assignment.

3.1 Edit the "View" action under products, "Standard Buttons and Links" section.

3.2 In the "Override Properties" section, choose Override With: "Product Page (yp_Product_Page)". Save assignment.

(Optional) Configure default landing tab for YP Quotes user

4.1 Edit the profile your YP Quotes user is configured with and check the "Default" radio button next to the YP Quotes application under "Custom App Settings" section.

1. Click on “Setup” link

2. Select from the left navigation menu Customize -> Products -> Fields

3. Select “Category” from Product Custom Fields and Relationships

5. Create a new category or edit existing.

• Click on the “Product” tab and click “New” button• Simply fill in all the needed fields such as Product name, Category, SKU, etc.

and click “Save” or “Save & Add Price”.• In order for the product to show up in the Configurator, “Active” and

“Shippable” checkboxes must be checked

• Click the “Edit” button located in the Child Products section on Product Detail page.

1.2 Creating Product Relationship

• Select product choice to allow multiple options within one product• Choose min, max or default quantity.
