Rainfall mapping
Indonesian’s rainfall mapping depends on Geographical location. • West coastal has more rainfall than East coastal• Rainfall on the West more than East , ie island series from Java,
Bali, NTB, & NTT that connected with narrow strait West Java is the most rainfall
• The heighest Rainfall is on to the land that has 600 - 900 m over sea level.

Rainfall mapping• The average of rainfall in Indonesia are 2000 - 3000 mm/year { it
always different every year & each places ) • Average rainfall less than 1000 mm, covered 0,6% from Indonesia,
ie. Nusa Tenggara, & 2 district on Sulawesi (lembah Palu & Luwuk).• Provinces that have average rainfall between1000 - 2000 mm per
year are : part of Nusa Tenggara, Merauke, Kepulauan Aru, & Tanibar.
• Provinces that have average rainfall between 2000 - 3000 mm per year are East Sumatera , South & East Borneo, most of West Java, Center of Java & part of Irian Jaya , Maluku Island & Most of Sulawesi
• Provinces that have average rainfall between more than 3000 mm per year are highland in West Sumatera, Center of Borneo, HIghland in Cener of Irian Jaya & some district in Java, Bali, Lombok & Sumba
• The highest rainfall is in Batu Raden – East Java, it almost 7,069 mm per year

• Water Storage [ South Sumatera , Aceh ]
Banyuasin / South Sumatra, they used water storage 10 x 10 x 5 metres for 1 RT ( Rukun Tetangga = neigbours )
