Natural Family Planning A Natural Family Planning Class will be

held on Sunday, November 5th, from

9:00am to 12:15pm in the Deanery

Resource Center at St. Louis. There is a

$40.00 fee for books and materials. For

Baptism Preparation Class The Baptism preparation class is for

parents who are having their first child

Baptized. The next class will be offered

on Tuesday, November 21st at 7:00pm

in the Deanery Resource Center at St.

Louis. Please call the parish office to

Mission Team Fundraiser The TriForce Mission Team is selling the following items to help raise money for

their trip to Vandalia, IL in the Summer of 2018. The poinsettias are beautiful,

florist quality red poinsettias, 14”-19” tall flowers, come in a 6 inch pot and sell for

$12.00. Wreaths are $20.00 undecorated, or $23.00 decorated with red bow.

Yankee Candles are also available. Reusable shopping bags are $3.00 each.

The orders will be ready for pick-up at St. Louis School in the old gym on

Saturday, December 2nd after Mass, and Sunday, December 3rd from 8:45am-

12:30pm. Orders must be placed by November 5th and forms are available in the

parish office or contact any Mission Team member. If you have any questions,

2018 Steubenville Youth Conference SAVE THE DATE! We will be joining the parishes of the Batesville Deanery again

for another exciting Steubenville Conference June 15-17, 2018. Registrations for

8th - 12th Graders will be coming soon!

High School Youth! Start Your Morning out Right! Join your friends for Bible Study each Wednesday morning at Amack’s Well

7:07am - 7:30am before school. Bring a friend!

Called 2 Serve One Day Mission St. Louis Parish Youth Ministries is sponsoring Called 2 Serve, a 1 day local

mission on November 4, 2017. Youth in grades 6-12 and adults are needed to

help with this service project. We will meet at Batesville's Liberty park at 8:30am

for a light breakfast and devotion, disperse in crews to help local residents with

yard work and light home repairs, and return to Liberty Park at 3:00pm for a snack

and share. Food, drink, and snacks are provided. Registration forms for youth and

adults can be found at the parish office and online. Please call Carrie Wesseler

(812) 933-1519 or Dave Meyer (812) 934-5457 for more information, or if you

know of a local resident in need of our help on this day.

Batesville Food Pantry During November and December we see a significant increase in usage at the food

pantry. Each household is offered extras during the holiday months and it all goes

very quickly. Your help in providing the extra food we need is so much appreciated

and we honestly couldn't do it without your generosity. St. Louis Parish is asked

to donate canned fruit and fruit juices. Thank you for making a difference for our

RCIA—All Welcome All are welcome to join us for any or all RCIA sessions! We meet in the parish office

meeting room on Sundays.

currently taking place throughout the United States and the world. We are looking

for you to be a part of this campaign to save lives by being a public witness in front

of the Planned Parenthood facility on Auburn Ave, in Cincinnati. St. Louis has

Rachel's Vineyard Retreat for Healing After Abortion A Rachel's Vineyard Retreat will be held in Central Indiana November 10,11, and

12. The retreat is open to anyone who has had an abortion, helped someone get

an abortion, or who has suffered because of an abortion by a friend or family

You Are Being Called to Volunteer! Volunteer for the National Catholic Youth Conference - November 16-18, 2017

Adults of all ages (18+) are needed to help make this conference an amazing

experience for our young church!

As the host diocese, the Archdiocese of Indianapolis needs 1000 volunteers for

shifts in the days leading up to, during and after the conference. Shifts are

typically 1-3 hours long at the Indianapolis Convention Center and Lucas Oil
