InvErtEr tEChnology for EvEn morE EnErgy savIngsMitsubishi Electric’s Advanced Technology Inverter Systems are more economical and efficient than conventional systems.

Conventional non-inverter systems run at a fixed speed. To maintain a set temperature the compressor switches on/off so room temperatures continually fluctuate, falling, rising and falling again.

To overcome this problem Mitsubishi Electric’s advanced inverter technology gently increases or decreases power to suit the prevailing conditions reaching the desired temperature quicker, more efficiently without severe temperature fluctuations.

The resulting reduction in electricity consumption by our energy saving technology not only saves you money but also reduces your carbon footprint on the environment.

Mitsubishi Electric’s Outdoor Inverter units have been aesthetically designed to minimise their visual impact on your environment.

I-sEE sEnsorThe “i-see Sensor” automatically moves from side to side, searching the floor temperature over a wide area of 150°.

Conventional air conditioners control indoor temperature by using only the temperature of the intake air at the top of the room. As a result, the floor level temperature, which has a big impact on the temperature that people feel, tends to be overlooked. The “i-see Sensor” detects the floor temperatures to ensure ongoing comfort in the living areas.

“Econo Cool” Energy-saving featureThis intelligent temperature control feature – that adjusts airflow direction to the body depending on air outlet temperature – allows set temperatures to be raised by 2 degrees without any loss in comfort for a 20% gain in energy efficiency.

* Available only during manual cooling operation.

Quick CleanThe easily detachable front panel is a snap to wash, and the airflow vents can be opened without any special tools for quick cleaning inside the air conditioner. It is recommended that the air conditioner be cleaned regularly, to increase operating efficiency and energy savings.

“i save” Mode“i save” is a simplified setting function that recalls a preferred (preset) temperature by pressing a single button on the remote controller. Plasma Deodorizing Filter(MSZ-FB Series)

The newly equipped “Plasma Deodorising Filter” provides state-of-the-art deodorisation-decomposition and elimination of harmful chemical substances at the nanolevel (1/1,000,000) of a millimetre). The key to high power deodorisation of the most unpleasant odours*1 in daily life is the elimination of ammonia, methyl mercaptan, trimethylamine and hydrogen sulphide.

Ultra Quiet OperationMitsubishi Electric has a long standing reputation for offering some of the quietest models in the industry. The new MSZ-GE range is no exception. The MSZ-GE25/35 is ultra quiet at only 19 dB(A) in Low Fan Speed and capable of maximum output. You want to feel the warmth, not hear it!

Plasma Air-Purifying Filter(MSZ-FB Series)

Armed with the “Plasma Air Purifying Filter”, which has already built up a solid reputation in Japan, the pollutants in your room air are removed more thoroughly than ever before. Besides collecting fine house dust, pollen and other annoying substances, this filter also provides disinfecting and anti-virus effects.*2 Negative ions, with their soothing and relaxing effects, are also generated.

Anti-Allergy Enzyme Filter(MSZ-GE60/71/80VA/MSZ-KA Series)

To counter allergens, we have added filters featuring artificial blue enzymes with the power to remove harmful microbes such as bacteria*1, virus, dust mites, pollen, etc. The enzymes destroy any germs caught in the filter, preventing them from working their way further inside the air conditioner. However, being artificial enzymes, they prevent allergies whilst remaining gentle to humans.

Wide and Long Air FlowThe wide and long air flow mode allows airflow direction to be adjusted, ensuring every corner of the room is comfortable. The mode is simply activated at the touch of a button on your remote controller. The long mode extends air flow to reach even the furthest point of large living rooms or enables kitchens to be reached in an open plan environment. This mode is available on our larger capacity models MSZ-GE60, MSZ-GE71/MSZ-GE80.

This filter incorporates nano-sized platinum- ceramic particles that generate stable antibacterial and deodourising effects. Advanced Remote Controller The optional wired remote controller (PAR-30MAA*) with a weekly timer functionenables eight separate pattern settings in a single day. Fix Operation Mode“Fix Operation Mode” can be selected to prevent operating in an erroneous mode. This is especially convenient in places where many people gather, such as in hotels.

Operable under Low OutdoorTemperaturesEven when it is as cold as -15°C outside, both heating and cooling operation are possible. Cooling may be suitable in winter for crowded spaces such as in pubs.
