Jake / teamLack of formal structure to support FRB issues between meetings

Jake charter ongoing IPTs as identified in FRB meeting minutes

15-Feb-09 24-Feb-09

AIM-to-CeTARS Interface IPT kicked off with Web meeting on 24 Feb. Roles, Privileges, and Workflow IPT chaired by D Harrison-Youngs of CPPD has been meeting actively for several months. Leo Grassi starting up Metadata IPT based on Navy Medicine work with VA. Central Site IPT under Mike Christoff and Bruce Bare developed planning data for enterprise AIM Central Site(s) hosted at NETPDTC. NETPDTC mgmt board approved request for implementation analysis and plan; work in progress by NETPDTC staff. All IPTs to report at 12-14 May FRB meeting.

FRB IPT on roles,

privileges, and workflow

Need AIM user community input on management of authoritative verb lists and other controlled vocabularies in CPM

Roles/Privileges/Workflow IPT recommend business rules for management of verb lists and other NLOS-related data lists in CPM

15-Feb-09 24-Feb-09 IPT well underway under lead of D Harrison-Youngs

Jake / teamNo defined business rules for retaining record of deleted content elements in CPM and LO Module

AIM team provide FRB members a proposed scenario(s) for retaining record of / pointers to deleted data in CPM and LO Module

15-May-09 Jake, Jamie, and Paul to brief at 12-14 May FRB meeting

Roy HoytLearning Centers have no guidelines for moving traditional AIM content into CPM/LO Module

NETC N7 to provide Learning Centers business rules for moving learning content into AIM toolset as courses undergo major revisions

Jake / team

Learning Centers have no guidelines for linking RIT II/ILE skills data to traditional LP/TG content

AIM team develop white paper on what the functional reqts are for leveraging CPM for linking skills data to traditional AIM LP/TG content

15-Dec-08 10-Dec-08Jake sent Jamie Stewart's white paper to FRB membership in Dec 08; Jamie to brief concept at 12-14 May FRB meeting

15-May-09Jake to brief the IPTs on the white paper and request review/inputs at 12-14 May FRB meeting

Melinda O'Brien

Mark Brockway of CeTARS team to investigate CeTARS updating of NITRAS CMS data

Melinda O’Brien (ATRC) confirm with Mark Brockway (CeTARS) the results of his investigation about CeTARS automatically updating NITRAS with CMS data

15-Dec-08 9-Dec Mark provided feedback to Melinda per her email inquiry

Melinda / Ron / Paul /

Steve

ATRC has had problems in adding different instructor/student ratio values within the same CIN CMS

Melinda work with Ron, Paul, and Steve to identify mix of student/instructor ratios functionality problem in CMS in AIM I and define what fix is required

31-Jan-09 19-Feb-0920 Feb: Melinda worked with Ron and Paul to finalize ACR on this issue

AIM-CeTARS IPT

AIM team needs authoritative input from FRB on what potential AIM-CeTARS data interfaces appear to be helpful and should be analyzed and level of effort generated

AIM-CeTARS IPT define range of interface options, work with AIM technical / functional staff to develop implementation options and cost estimates, and provide to Jake to socialize with CeTARS FRB

24-Feb-09 24-Feb-09 Jake conducted kickoff meeting for IPT on 24 Feb

Jake/team / Mike

Christoff / Bruce Bare

Need to develop initial planning to support AIM community-wide implementation of central site(s)

Jake and AIM team work with Bruce Bare and Mike Christoff (as FRB lead) to develop implementation plan and resource requirements to provide central site capability across all user communities

15-Feb-09 10-Dec-08

FRB members

Core membership of FRB IPTs to be chartered by Jake as AIM PM defined at meeting; other members welcome

FRB members sign up representatives from their organizations to participate in FRB-chartered IPTs, based on draft charters to be provided by Jake for review

AIM team

FRB members / ILE prototype project team members may not be certain what capabilities are available in CPM / LO Module as interim builds are released prior to AIM Rel 4.0 and AIM Rel 4.1

AIM team ensure that as interim builds of CPM and LO Module are made available for prototype projects information is provided about what ACRs and FRM items are incorporated in that interim build

15-Jan-09 5-Dec-08

Paul Graf working with Steve Wicinski to ensure "What's New" in each build includes specific references to ACR and FRM numbers; implemented for Spiral 3 to be GAT tested the week of 25 May 09

AIM team

FRM needs to be updated to incorporate the functional capabilities added by FRB during review and to plan packaging of evolving capabilities as interim builds are released to support prototype projects

AIM team add FRB-requested item(s) to the baseline Functional Requirements Matrix (FRM) and adjust phasing of s/w development to reflect FRB priority ratings and support content prototype projects

1-Dec-08 28-Nov-08Paul Graf updated AIM Modernization FRM per all FRB comments

Jake / Ron / team

FRB members need feedback on level of effort estimates on high priority ACRs to provide final input to Jake and Ron

Jake and Ron coordinate level of effort estimates on high-priority ACRs with programming team and send updated ACR list to FRB for further prioritization and consideration from OPNAV-level sponsors

1-Dec-08 28-Nov-08

Jake Aplanalp sent FRB membership revised ACR lists for final round of prioritization, which included LOE estimates with user work-around comments column populated by several very experienced AIM I/II users

FRB members

A number of AIM user community organizations contacted for the AIM survey this summer have not yet provided usage data

FRB members whose organizations have not yet responded to the AIM team questionnaire on learning content in AIM I/II ensure that feedback is provided to Jake and Mary-Bridget Paradise

JakeLarry Farmer offered at FRB meeting to lend NETC N7 weight to gathering complete AIM usage data

Jake provide Roy Hoyt / Larry Farmer a copy of the AIM usage questionnaire for promulgation to Learning Centers to ensure standardized data input

14-Nov-08 10-Nov-08Jake Aplanalp provided copy of questionnaire to Larry Farmer to coordinate inputs with AIM user communities

AIM team

Richard Payne's Naval Shipyard team still has a number of functional and technical questions related to potential AIM / CPM / LO Module implementation for their community
