3/4P has really had procedure writing in full

swing these last few weeks of term. We have

spent lots of time stepping out and writing

about each procedure we have created. Here

are some pictures of our cool Tie-Dye shirts

we have made for our dance and of our

Football Tables, we have also created from

scratch. We are really enjoying making and

writing procedures!

As this term comes to an end I would like to wish everyone a relaxing

and safe holiday.

School will resume on Monday 14 October for both staff and students.

We look forward to a very productive Term 4.

World of Maths incursion in Week 2.

Grandparents Assembly in Week 2.

Kindergarten 2020 Orientation will commence in Week 3.

Year 5 and 6 students will have their excursion to the Great Aussie Bush Camp in Week 5.

Reminder for all payments to be finalised by this Friday 27 September.

How fortunate is our school to have such wonderful staff that we are able to offer all these activities.

As part of the MPS Fun Fair Fundraiser on Friday 27th September, Year 6 will be

hosting a Trash or Treasure Stall.

We are seeking any dona-tions, such as:

Toys

Books

Puzzles/Games

Sport equipment

Trinkets of any kind

Donations can be dropped off to the office or to Miss

Razmovski.

All items must be in by Wednesday 25th Sept.

all students.

Kindergarten 2020

We are organising our Kindergarten Orientation program for Term 4. Letters have been sent out to parents with

children registered for Kindergarten in 2020. If you have or know of a child who is eligible to start Kindergarten

next year and has not yet registered please contact the school office as soon as possible.

We are looking forward to welcoming all our new ‘Kinders’ to the school.

Year 5 and 6 Excursion to Great Aussie Bush Camp

Year 5 and 6 are off to the Great Aussie Bush Camp in week 4 of next term. It is a 3

day camp with lots of activities including bushwalks, archery and canoeing.

Reminder that all payments for the Year 5 and 6 excursion to Great Aussie Bush

Camp must be finalised by this Friday 27 September.

Invoices have been sent home to the students with outstanding payments.

From the Kitchen……….

Banana Muffins

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1/2 cup sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

3 medium ripe bananas

1 large egg, room temperature

1/3 cup vegetable oil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

1 In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients.

2 In another bowl, mash the bananas. Add egg, oil

and vanilla, mix well. Stir into the dry ingredients

just until moistened.

3 Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups half full.

4 Bake at 180 degrees celsius for 18—22 minutes or

until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out

clean. Cool for 10 minutes, remove from pan to a

wire rack to cool completely.
