WE GIVE GLORY TO GOD BY THE SUPER

NETWORK TELEVISION

Last week we saw the analog TV being turned off. How much evolution. We

live in the future, technological advancement exaggerated. This brings us

to reflect in the prophecies of the Bible. Jesus will return, and soon. More

than ever, it is time to preach the Gospel, to spread the good news. Thanking

God for the digitization of the Super Network, fulfilling this role to inspire

people to seek the God in so many parts of the world. It is undoubtedly a

great instrument of evangelization, so we have to pray and help her to keep

entering homes and transforming lives. Good read!

Before you respond, you will agree that if you have not greeted someone like that, you have already been greeted in those terms. You may agree that we are not always interested in the answer, either what we will give or what others will give us. We ask the question out of habit, not because we are really interested in it, and we continue on our way. And if we are sincere with ourselves, with our neighbor, and with the Father, we are not willing to be patient. Usually people ask the question and do not expect the answer. More than a mat-ter of interest, the question is more force of habit, education, greeting, than really desire to know what is going on with the person. Why do we do this many times? Is it the fault of the rush, of the so-called “modern times?” Or why aren’t we willing to listen to what others have to tell us?

There was an instant, when there in the Garden of Eden, God looked at the man and made a question, “Adam, where are you?” Not that God was not seeing Adam, because no one could hide from his eyes, but He was asking, “Adam, is that all right?” And Adam hid himself and said, “It’s okay “. Turns out nothing was going well. When you lose your relationship with God, you lose your relationship with your neighbor as well. May you have the freedom to stop and respond, really from your heart, “I’m fine.” You can say that everything is fine because the Christian is beyond circumstances. But when you need it, you can split your load with another. God saw that the situation of the man did not go well and did not fold his arms. God sent Jesus, his Son, to pay the price of our ransom, and in this way we can say, “It’s all right because the Lord loves me.”

Beloved reader, I want to consider three reasons why pe-ople say that all is well while things are not well. The first one: absence of sympathy. There are people who are not sympathetic, who do not know how to share the pain or the joy of the other, who have no ability to attract or comfort the afflicted, who do not create trust, who are not prepared to give advice or willing to give a little of their life in favor of the other. The second reason why many say that everything is okay is pride. Many prefer to keep their appearance and do not want to give up. They avoid making confession of pain, of weakness, of fear. The third reason why many choose to say that all is well is ignorance. Because he does not want to affirm or know that this situation is a sinful situation and that all sin leads to death, to destruction, to evil.

How are you doing? Is everything okay? You can say, “Yes, I’m doing good”; because the Lord is on the Throne and He has everything under control. But there are times when you will need the help of a friend, of prayer, of company, of his presence. When you ask someone “how are you?” Stop, listen to the person and be a real blessing to them.

God bless!

MINISTRY

Every hour, 503 women in Brazil are victims of physical ag-gression. The data disseminated in the Brazilian government portal is alarming and the church needs to be positioned against the invasion of violence in the households and to understand as a place of support and healing, but also of the transformation of society. Therefore, the Ministry Elas is available to women to provide support, instruction and even guidelines to avoid the problem. The 25th of November is the International Day for the Elimination of violence against women. The crux of the date is the denunciation of violence against women in the world and the requirement for policies aimed at eradicating them. The date emerged as a tribute to three Dominican sisters, Patria, Minerva and María Teresa Mirabal, who were persecuted, prey and ultimately murdered on November 25, 1960, during the dic-tatorial regime of Rafael Leonidas Trujillo.

Violence can be defined as a violation of human rights that affects thousands of women of all ages, from varying social clas-ses and degrees of schooling worldwide. In Brazil, one in three women suffered some kind of violence in the last year: 22% of Brazilians suffered verbal offense, 10% suffered threat of physi-cal violence, 8% suffered sexual assault, 4% received threat with knife or firearm, 3% or 1.4 million of women suffered beating or attempted strangulation and 1% took at least one shot. Betwe-en March 2016 and March of this year, Brazil recorded at least eight cases of femicide per day and in the world ranking, the country is in 5th position in the assassination of women.

What sadly impress is that more than half of these women (52%) were silently faced with the violence suffered, only 11% sought a police station and 13% opted for family support. The aggressor, most of the time, is a known (61% of cases). In 19% of the time, they were present companions of the victims and at 16% were former. About 43% of the most severe aggressions occurred within the victims ‘ house, and 39% on the streets.

The federal government offers several services to confront the problem, such as the woman’s care center of the Special Center for Women’s policies (SPM), Maria da Penha law (a spe-cific legislation for cases of violence against women) and the telephone number 180 that is a free service and anonymous public utility. The Central receives complaints of violence, com-plaints about women’s service network services and guides on the rights and legislation in force and can be triggered from 16 countries with which Brazil maintains covenant, to meet Brazi-lians living abroad.

We know that, as Christians, this reality cannot just shock us, but we move to pray and act in favor of our country. A violen-ted woman receives marks not only on her physique, but also in her intellect and emotions. The role of the woman has been distorted in our society, but as Jesus did, we can also redeem the value and female identity in the light of the word of God. It is our duty to intercede, prayer will give us the direction we must take, but it cannot be understood as an instrument of omission. The ministry Elas work with campaigns aimed at discussing this problematic and supporting women faced with violence. There is legal attendance every week, in which women can receive guidance and support about their rights, in addition to spiritual and emotional support, through pastoral counseling and psy-chological accompaniment to the victims of violence. Join them, pray, seek guidance and disclose this ministry that you want to contribute to this data to be reduced. The ministry operates on Beberibe Street, 133- São Cristóvão.

If we obey God’s Word, certainly we will live for His glory. As the affectionate Father he is, God gave us precious pre-cepts for us to be happy here, on Earth. But, unfortunately, we do not always consult this worthy “Survival Guide”, which is the Bible, and that’s why we do not get to understand why the Lord’s promises do not fulfill in our life. There are pro-mises for those who obey. But, also, consequences for those who don’t. God left us teachings to be successful in all areas of our life.

Nowadays, it can be said that many have been preaching about the “prosperity gospel”. It is very easy for people to classify a message, a theology, a doctrine. According to our faith, we can’t create “boxes” and treat these boxes as being the only truth. We observe in the Scriptures the context of prosperity and find that is much more than material abun-dance, than comfort, financial stability. It is interesting some people add to the understanding of prosperity only the mate-rial goods. In Psalms 73 we read about David’s outrage about evil’s prosperity. Let’s look what he says on verse 3: “For I was envious at the arrogant, when I saw the prosperity of the wi-cked.” The psalmist was watching the wicked, a man with no knowledge of God, prospering, and took that as a blessing. But financial prosperity does not have the same meaning as the Lord’s blessing. Otherwise, all that acquired possessions out of an illegal way would be saintly before the Father.

However, that’s not what the Bible teaches us.There’s a prosperity of the wicked, only related to material

goods. But as the smoke, it vanishes. And David’s outrage was due to, apparently, the wicked are successful in everything, despite all their evil ways. And in Scriptures’ standards, pros-perity goes way beyond than just wealth and goods accumu-lation. It’s not about the glamour. It’s the absence of needs. It’s about having enough for your own needs and having to reach the others needs. Look what is written in the Word of God, in Hebrews 13.5: “Keep your lives free from the love of money. And be satisfied with what you have. God has said, ‘I will never leave you;I will never run away from you.’”

There’s a well being impression when somebody sees only the material goods’ borders as if they were the everything in life. Let’s look what John wrote: “Beloved, I pray that in all things you mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John, verse 2). God wishes us prosperity too, not only in goods but mainly in health and spirituality. Keep this insight, prosperity is way much more than finances. May you be wealthy of Lord’s grace, amen?

The Bible tells us about the communion that Moses had with the Lord: “The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend (…)” (Ex 33.11a). We can see, by Exodus, on the Pentateuch (first five books from the Bible written by Moses), that some expressions re-peat all the time: “And the Lord said to Moses”, “And the Lord answe-red to Moses”. All the time we find God and Moses on a frank and open dialogue about the people of Israel and God’s projects for them. Many times, Moses prayed for the people. Many times, we find a friend’s talk between the both.

Let’s find Moses secret in Ex 33.7-11, how was he able to have God that close. This reference tells us about Moses’s daily habit: He put the tend early, far away from all and focused his day on the communion with the Lord.

We all have our daily habits. They are little manias that turn into automatic for us, like: What we do before bed, what we eat, when we wake up. But, we must have Moses habit: Have a moment alone with God, far from the noises and worries. It’s interesting to know that peo-ple who lived with Moses followed him on his habits as well. Moses was being followed without knowing it. The people, right outside his tend, also worshipped the Lord by seeing the cloud column, which meant the God’s presence, getting down and be beside Moses’s tend door. And God talked to him face to face.

When we decide to go after the Lord, He comes to us and the pe-ople around us follow what we’re doing and are stimulated to pray and worship to God. Our children, our spouse, our neighbors and work colleagues realize how hard we look for the Lord and feel challenged to also look after an intimate communion with God. How many mo-thers have woken up on the night time to pray for their kids or for their husband and think they’re not being watched. However, when the kid or the husband find God, the mothers listen they saying that heard and watched their mothers praying and worshipping. What do you do every day before beginning your day? Do you take a time with God? Live this communion, face to face with God, and your life will shine the Lord’s glory, where all will see Jesus on you. How about starting today in working on Moses’s secret?

Biblical reference: “Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others.” (Mark 12.43)

Text explanation: Jesus was in the temple paying attention to people as they turned their offerings into cash. Of all that HE saw, a widow was noteworthy, for she offered all that she had, having almost nothing.

Discussion1. If I were in financial need, would I still be an offerer?2. What can I expect before God when I offer? Or could it be

that I can not expect anything?3. Have I ever been moved in joy when offering? Or am I alwa-

ys upset, or annoyed, or displeased at a moment of offering?

Objective: To biblically understand what can make my act of offering be fulfilled with joy by faith.

Context: Why would a widow and poor woman give every-thing she had? Especially because she had almost nothing? Why would she give the little she had, since that was all her livelihood? Perhaps the answer can be found in what the biblical text of Ro-mans 15.13 says. The Bible declares: “May God, the giver of hope, fill you with continual joy and peace because you trust in Him--so that you may have abundant hope through the power of the Holy Spirit”. Another version says: “But The God of hope shall fill you with all joy and peace by faith, that you shall superabound in his hope by the power of The Spirit of Holiness”. The Bible text will teach us that faith makes us act in confidence. Moreover, it tells us that faith gives rise to joy. Why would that woman be left with nothing, giving what little she had, offering to God? What is the reason? Surely she was putting her trust in the One who could supply her with all her needs! Certainly, she was using the faith to receive the miracle of God. The Bible is the foundation of faith. Faith is only faith if it is based on what the Bible says. So that woman probably based her faith on the biblical account of another widow. In 1 Kings 17.8-15, we have the meeting of Elijah with a widow in the city of Sarepta. That widow also had only the remainder of her livelihood, her last meal, when the prophet comes to her. He told her: “Give me the food you have!”. From that woman’s answer, we can see that she did not like what Elijah said. She replied: “What I have is only enough for me and my son. It isn’t enough for you”. But then, Elijah activated the faith of that woman with a Word of God. He said: “Do to me first, for by the Word of God, flour and oil will not cease until the day the Lord sends rain again on the land!”. Immediately, on hearing this, the woman obeyed and did according to Elijah instructed her. What made her change? She saw her house having food until the drou-ght ended. She saw the joy of having the sustenance. She saw the fulfillment of that word, and she trusted. She rejoiced in the cer-

THE OFFER OF THE WIDOW

tainty of experiencing that miracle, and immediately acted. Faith sees the fulfillment of the Word of God, and rejoices! Giving is a biblical principle. Jesus taught in Luke 6.38: “Give, and it will be gi-ven to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you”.

In this text, Jesus teaches that we should give and teaches that we can have an expectation that it will be given to us, to a gre-ater extent, how much we are giving. We give with joy, for the expectation of experiencing more of the goodness of God. In ano-ther text, in which the Bible encourages believers to give, it says: “For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God” (2 Corinthians 9.12). Here the Bible teaches that giving will bring forth many thanksgiving to God. Giving generates praise and gra-titude to the Lord. In this way, we give joyfully, knowing that God will be praised in this attitude. By knowing that gratitude will be given to God in this act. In 2 Corinthians 8, we see the believers in the region of Macedonia who also gave, offered, doing beyond their capacity. They had no left over. They had little. But they took what they had and gave. The purpose of that offer was to su-pply believers in the Jerusalem area who were in need because of Christian persecution suffered at that time. They gave with joy, for the fulfillment of having their brethren supplied. In this particular case, the Bible reports that the Macedonians were moved by ge-nerosity. “Generosity is a voluntary and spontaneous initiative to give!”. This generosity so pleased God that the text says that the Lord has turned their poverty into an abundant wealth. Yet, in the Bible in Exodus 35, the text shows that God had told the people to bring offerings to the temple work that would proclaim His name. People offered gold, silver, cloths, wood, precious stones, and other things. It is clear the joy of those people in offering to the work of the temple, because the Bible declares that the people contributed until there was much more than enough. An offering catches my eye: God said that oil should be continually offered, which would be used to light the lamps, and thus illu-minate the Temple. Nowadays, of course, light is provided by the “electric power company”. But we can see people interested in offering for the constant temple work in which the name of the Lord is proclaimed. They offered for the joy of the continuity of the work of the Lord. The Bible declares that faith pleases God. Without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11.6). To be-lieve that God is the rewarder, the gift giver, is an act of faith and pleases God. The widows we mentioned above certainly believed in a rewarding, giving God. That’s why they acted. That’s why they gave. And so, it was possible to rejoice in giving, in this certainty of trusting in a God who rewards. No attitude of ours can buy the blessing of God. This is impossible to happen. However, the Bible teaches that faith is confirmed by attitudes. Faith without works is dead. So I prove that I am believing in God for something, when I act pleasing God according to the faith I am claiming to have. The widow of Sarepta believed in the promise of the food not to end, and acted giving, thus showing that she had truly believed. Her obedience to the declared Word from God was the attitude that confirmed her faith. The Bible says that God loves the one who gives joyfully (2 Corinthians 9.7). What is your joy in giving? The joy of being rewarded? The joy of supplying the needy? The joy

SMALL GROUPS FOR TEENSStudy: Principles for contributing

In the Kingdom of God, sowing is very valuable, for it is she who deter-

mines the harvest, and it is by this way that the word teaches us how to

contribute to the work of the Lord through our tithes and offerings. Our

God is the one who sees the heart, unlike men, and for this reason He is too

interested in our motivations and intentions to accomplish anything that

is asked of us. Many men have suffered terrible consequences in biblical

times for bringing their offerings before God as a heart filled with greed

and self-interest. We must learn to cultivate within ourselves, intentions

inspired by the Spirit so that our contribution is always accepted by our

Father as a nice offer.

If you have questions in the lesson, call Felipe Mendes +55(31) 99943-4240.

of generating praises to God? The joy of supporting the work of the Lord? The joy of experiencing the fulfillment of the Word of God in your life?

I must be a giver. I must give in faith. I must give with joy. Conclusion: The Bible says that everything that does not

come from faith is sin (Romans 14.23). It also says that God loves the one who gives with joy. It also says that I must give, offer. And joy is a feeling that proves I’m having faith. I need to align my fai-th with my giving so that I can always act before God by opening my hands with joy. Giving with joy, acting in faith, I please God, I contribute to His purposes, and I experience more of the good-ness of a Rewarding God.

Application: Even to offer, to give, I must find a reason to act in faith. I need to find a reason to fill my heart with joy, by the standards of the Word of God. I need to please God with my faith, and with the joy of giving.

Our broadcaster still needs donations to continue transmitting the true healing, saves and release.

Transforming society through the practice and transmission of Christian principles, this is the mission of Super Network de Television, broadcasting the Lagoinha Bap-tist Church. For 15 years, they have been communicating the message of the Gos-pel of Christ to viewers and Internet users from various parts of Brazil and around the world through the transmission of various services, congresses and programs. Several countries where the gospel is scarce and often persecuted follow the schedule. The Super Network de Television is Lagoinha’s largest mission tool. Thousands of people have come to know Jesus and have been transformed by God through our TV.As has been reported, in June 2014, the Mi-nistry of Communications has set the ana-log signal shutdown schedule of TV in the Brazilian municipalities for digital access. The digitalization of TV in Brazil is a deter-mination of the Federal Government. Until 2018 all the TV channels will change to the digital signal. The difference is the type of transmission in digital there is no loss of quality in the process, namely, audio and video keep 100% of the original broadcast quality, eliminating sprinkles and interfe-

rence in reception, characteristic of analog system. Digital TV also allows the trans-mission of programmes in high definition (HDTV), with the appearance of 16:9 scre-en (or widescreen), equal to that of cine-ma, channel audio capability and 5.1. The analog signal shutdowns have been stag-gered by the Ministry of Communications, in November was the last term. All TV’s need to go through this process to conti-nue in the air. For this reason, our Church has launched some time ago the campaign “Super Network can’t stop”, with the goal of achieving funding for digitisation, whi-ch happened this month. Are big advanta-ges of digital transmission, however, have a very high expense. The digitisation of the Super Network was not a matter of luxury, but a survival of the channel. As soon as the analog signal is switched off by Anatel, the Super Network will be a TV with a digi-tal signal. This process of disconnection of the analog signal occurs when the digital signal reaches 93% of the municipal hou-seholds. The Super Network will have the digital signal from the time of shutdown, but will continue with the internal scan change process.

As the digital process is different from ana-log, the TV can’t have any equipment that does not conform to the form of transmis-sion. The amount that was collected from the donations corresponds to 20% of what is needed for the scan. As our TV goes through this internal scanning process, it still needs your help. The donations played a very important role, since they contribu-ted to the fact that the TV imported digital equipment. Without this help it would not be possible to purchase all the equipment that guarantees a TV with the necessary quality for the digital transmission. “We have been implementing new frames and programs for several months now. We in-

crease the range of options with several common themes in the everyday of all peo-ple. We work the content in a way in which the viewer can always have the Super Ne-twork as a reference of a TV with Christian principles and values. The Super Network thanks everyone who contributed to this process of digitization being initiated and implemented. It was from this act of help and encouragement that we saw that we have much more than viewers, we have people who are already part of the Super Network family, “comments Carlos, Coor-dinator the Channel.Let us together continue to conquer peo-ple throughout the world by spreading the

gospel on TV screens. Collaborate with this purpose by making your contribution of any amount in the account:

The women are more than summoned to appear in the first “Fearless Women”. With free admission, the event will be held by the CARISMA Theological Seminary, Lagoinha, on Monday (27), at 8:30 p.m., in the Hall CEU in church ( Str. Araribá, 543, Bairro São Cristóvão, Belo Horizonte). Confirmed as lecturers are the pastors Eliza Martins, Karol Mendonça, Raquel Cabral and Vanessa Capo-chim.

With free admission, “Fearless Women” will address issues of women’s exclusive interestEvent will be on Monday (27), at 8.30 pm, in the Hall CEU in Lagoinha

They will conduct a chat based on issues of interest to the fe-male audience, such as sexuality, how a woman should behave with the male during the period of conquest, among others. The participants of the meeting will also be able to ask questions for the lecturers.

Pastor Karol explains that the name of the event, Fearless Wo-men, means “fearless women” or “fearless”, this being one of the points that will also be discussed in the chat. “We live in a gene-ration where women, in general, are very fearless, because they work, they study, they run after what they want. But at the same time, they are losing their values. Women blame men for their lack of attitude, but the truth is a lot is our fault. This is because, with some of our positions, we have dishonored and diminished men, “said Karol.

In addition to the chat, there will be ministrations of worship and worship. Only women are allowed to enter the event. If you would like to know more information about the event, call the pastor Karol Mendonça +55 (31) 99394-1122

REPUBLIC OF ALBANIACOUNTRY OF THE WEEK

Albania is one of the poorest countries of Europe. There was little development, the infrastructure is poor, there is corruption and the high rates of immigration affect its growth.

The religious context is obscure, and it is difficult to find reliable sources of statistical data. Many people profess to belong to a religion, but do not practice their faith. For a long time the country was closed to the gospel, but the evangelic people grew from practically zero to thousand ones in a few years. The Alba-nian Evangelical Alliance (VUSH) represents and connects more than 160 congregations. But Albania has a long way to recover from the destructive effects of atheism and communism. The cha-os and corruption of the decades of 1990 and 2000 showed that, in order to build a healthy and productive society, people need to reconstruct not only the economy but also the moral and spiritual aspects.

Islam is the largest religion in Albania (possibly more than 70% of the population). Many Muslims follow a superstitious and popular version of Islam. The greatest need of the Evangelical Church is of prayer for leadership training. When a church grows so rapidly from nothing in just 2 decades, there is no biblical mo-del of leadership to copy and the majority of believers know very little about the Bible. Orthodox, Catholics and Protestants work together to translate again the Word of God to the modern Alba-nian language. Almost all missionary agencies and national minis-tries combine practical assistance and sharing of the gospel. Many

“LAGOINHAS KATHMANDU AND MEDELLÍN ARE PLANNING EXPANSION

LAGOINHA NATIONS

Our international churches have been used so many lives to meet Jesus and the challenge to House more people grows along with the dream of delivering the Gospel teaching efficiently and structu-red. “We want to bring teaching through leadership and music schools. Our desire is to really be a blessing to the people “, seeks pastor Lazarus Soares, Lagoinha Kathmandu (Nepal). Pastor Ramiro Cha-gas, Medellín (Colombia) Lagoinha, has similar yearning: “Our dream is to be an influence for those who don’t know Je-sus and bring a revival to the city”. Wa-lking sense these targets, the two chur-ches have done projects and some ideas are out of paper.

Inaugurated in March this year, Ka-thmandu Lagoon hosts weekly worship services and has five SG’s and a “House of Peace”. Most members came from re-ligions such as Hinduism and Buddhism, with less than 3% of Nepalese Christians. In this way, the preaching and teaching of the Word is a huge need of the cou-ntry. Considering this need, a hall was rented to host the church. “In addition

to services, we will use the place to train people,” says Lázaro.

The desire is to inaugurate the temple until the first quarter of 2018, but first it is necessary to renovate the electrical part and the bathrooms, paint the place and also buy chairs to carry out the training and studies, sound equipment, musical ins-truments , curtains, thermal carpets (Nepa-lese have the culture of attending services sitting on rugs), among other materials. “The dream is to empower the natives to become fit in leading the work in the chur-ch. They still do not know how to serve; need to learn a lot from the Word and to undergo ministering healing and delive-rance, “ the pastor explains.

The expansion of the work is also a necessity of Lagoinha Medellín. Of the six SG’s, two are childish and have grown ra-pidly. “Children are evangelists and bring friends. In less than a month, we had 25 children in one SG and another 15 in the other group. As there is no space in the houses, the children had to stay on the steps and alleys of the neighborhood, “says Pastor Ramiro. To meet the demand,

this month, a house was rented exclusi-vely for the little ones. “We want to have a ‘children’s church’, a place for teaching and evangelism,” he shares.

The painting of the house has begun, but there is still no furniture and there is no stationery for the execution of child la-bor. “We need crayons, paper, glue, paint material for children, among others,” says the pastor. If you would like to donate sta-tionery materials to Lagoinha Medellín, you can leave them, until the end of De-cember, at the Carisma building, at Str. Manoel Macedo, 360, Bairro São Cristóvão, BH, under the care of Pastor Leo Capochim. For other donations, contact Lagoinha Na-tions or contribute through bank deposits. Let us call on the Lord to supply resources and give His people the opportunity to res-pond to the call to make the name of Jesus known to men of all tribes, languages, pe-oples and nations!

SUPER NETWORK TELEVISION

60 YEARS OF HISTORY

A channel that blesses lives since 2002

The story of Super Network of Television began with the founding of channel 15, on March 3, 1997, by journalists Lau-ro Diniz and Alberico de Sousa Cruz, former journalism direc-tors of Rede Globo, and businessman Ellos Noli. Headquarte-red in Belo Horizonte, initially, the coverage was restricted to the capital of Minas Gerais and the transmissions were made only by cable TV. The station was the first to conduct fiber optic transmission in Brazil and the first betacam TV in Mi-nas Gerais. Under the motto “news at all times”, Channel 15’s programming was dedicated, exclusively, to journalism. In June 2000, the Super Networking Television started to opera-te under the management of the businesswoman Liliane Her-meto, deputy Dalmir de Jesus and four other deputies . With investments in infrastructure, the broadcaster won, in the same year, satellite transmission. Programming was mainly characterized by the talk show genre in which a person or a group of people come together and discuss various topics that are suggested and moderated by one or more presenters.

On July 17, 2002, the Super Network Television was pur-chased by our church. From then on, it began to work on an editorial line focused on the Christian segment. His slo-gan was: “A TV Before the Throne”, emphasizing that all its content was under God’s powerful hands to praise Him and establish His glory in conveying or imparting His message to homes. Pastor Ian Alone provided the guidelines for pro-gramming. With the vision of being a reference for Christian communication in Brazil and in the world, the station has always produced content linked to the gospel, with the mis-sion of transforming society through the practice and trans-mission of Christian principles.

In 2008, the TV began to be administered by the ministry “Diante do Trono” (Before the Throne) and with the new lea-dership, the station adopted a new slogan: “Rede Super: trans-forming lives”. In February 2010, the station was administe-

red by Pr. André Valadão, and in October of the same year, the administration passed to Pastor Márcio Valadão. In No-vember 2011, the Super Network won its own headquarters. The installations moved from the Lourdes neighborhood, in Belo Horizonte (MG), to the São Luiz neighborhood, in the Pampulha region.

The innovation is part of the history of the channel that seeks to bring new grids, sceneries and partnerships, but the brand of the or what marks the TV are the programs that were born as soon as it arrived, such as: Prophesying Life, presented by Pr. Márcio Valadão; Always Happy, presented by Márcia Resende, The Gideons, with presenter and pastor Ângela Valadão and the program Uncle Uli and the Dolls, pre-sented by Uncle Uli. In the Super Network the Nielsen index is not measured, but the fruits that the programs have col-lected for the Church of Christ: lives. Also, there is no space for commercials that incite sensuality, addiction to drinks or consumerism. But embrace companies and Christian people who can advertise their product to the specific audience they want to achieve, which is Christian.

Today, with the motto: “Inspiring you,” the TV remains fo-cused on providing the Christian viewer the daily food of the Word. Now, digitized, it continues with great expectation to gain even more lives for Jesus through the programming grid and, mainly, by the live transmission of the cults that reach so many countries through the internet. From the beginning, Pr. Márcio always talks and continues to focus on this vision: “Where there is a place to go, we want to reach”. May you accompany this beautiful work, being a viewer and blessing so that the Super Network will continue transmitting the love of Jesus to the families in the four corners of the earth.

It is with great joy and gratitude to the Lord that on No-vember 29, starting at 7:30 p.m., we will ordain 79 new bro-thers to the pastoral ministry. The consecration ceremony will be held during the worship of celebration at the Temple of the Baptist Church of Lagoinha Betim (Avenida José Inácio Filho, 700, Ingá), and will be attended by our beloved pastor Márcio Valadão.

The future pastors were recognized for the fruits produ-ced in the kingdom of the Lord, through the beautiful work done with their respective small groups (SG). These SG’s are considered the heart of the church, each of which has the opportunity to know and care for lives, to build bonds, to ser-ve, to have fellowship and to self build. I praise God for the li-

ves of these beloved brothers and together we will share this ministry so beautiful that God has given us in Lagoinha. I am very happy, fulfilled and honored by the Lord. To the Lord Jesus I give all honor and glory. The new pastors will serve as instruments in the hands of God, acting in several ministries of the Lagoinha family. God bless you all!
