AJAX Senior Club U19’s Grand Final Appearance

The AJAX Senior Club U19’s Team will be aiming for Premiership success on Sunday 15 September 2013 when they play off in the VAFA U19 Section 3 Grand Final. The Jackas had a convincing 87 point win in the 2nd semi-final played on Saturday 31 August and will go into the Grand Final full of confidence. The Grand Final will be played at: Trevor Barker Oval Beach Road, Sandringham Time: 9.15am

The whole of the AJFC community wish the Jackas U19’s players and the coaches (Adam & Danny) all the very best in the Grand Final. All JACKAS supporters are encouraged to attend and support the team in their quest to achieve premiership glory. It will be a huge day for them and the club.

Results of SMJFL’s U14-U17’s awards presentation night

On Tuesday 3

rd September the SMJFL’s U14-17’s awards presentation night was held at Kingston

Town Hall. The following “Jackas” polled well in their respective divisions. U15 Jets (division 1) - Ashley Krakauer polled 14 votes to finish 5th. (Ashley was 3

votes behind the 3rd place winner). U15 Comets (division 4) - Harrison Hymans polled polled 15 votes to finish 3rd & Nicholas Cohen polled 14 votes to finish 4th. (the joint winners in this division polled 16 votes) U16 (division 2) - Benji Michelson polled 17 votes to finish 4th. (Benji was 2

votes behind the equal 2nd placed winners & 3 votes behind the winner)

U15 Division 1 Interleague Coaches Award Ashley Krakauer won this award for his performances in the U15 Division 1 AFL Victoria Metropolitan Junior Championships. Ash was named as one of the best players in all of the 3 matches played. Mazel-Tov to Ash for winning this award and to Harrison, Nicholas & Benji for polling well in their respective divisions.
