ABOUT THE COLLEGE
Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, envisions a life-oriented education that empowers the
students through a humanizing and liberative process, to be agents of transformation and
development at different levels of life. Enabled and empowered, they respond pro – actively to concerns and conflicts inherent in today’s reality, especially those of women
and persons who are unable to exercise their freedom to be human and work for the
integrity of creation. The thrust is in the light of a “Civilization of love”, the Kingdom of
God, as envisaged and promoted by the Foundress, Mother Teresa of St. Rose of Lima.
Manan 2015
Humanities Fest – Manan 2015 – Exploring Mindscapes is an inter-collegiate festival which
aims at celebrating the uniqueness of every individual and bringing in a solemn understanding of
the inner-self and the society. It is a cultural extravaganza, with various colleges

cultural theme which the association decides on, based on which the events are

fest brings together some of the best minds in and around Bangalore to grow, network ,
interact and explore exciting opportunities, hone their leadership potential, manage people and
build an effective team through the course of our one-day competitive events.
Eminent personalities from various walks of life such as bureaucracy, academics and industry
judging the events will add value to this event.
We have chosen an apt theme of “Identity, Individuality, Diversity’” for – Humanities Fest 2015. Our faith and initiative, fuels our passion to work harder, leaving a pleasant and lasting
