Cinematography: The cinematography used in the scene is bright to emphasis the happy mod Jordan is in. I used a low angle shot to show the body language of the actress being that she’s relaxed the audience can see this through her posture on the sofa. Sound: In the phone call, the audience can hear the other character through the phone during their conversation. The sound from the phone is diegetic as the audience can see where it is coming from. Frame 1

Scenario: In this scene, Jordan is sitting down comfortably on the sofa in her house talking to one of her friends on the phone. Cinematography: The cinematography used in the scene is bright to emphasis the happy mod Jordan is in. I used a low angle shot to show the body language of the actress being that shes relaxed the audience can see this through her posture on the sofa. Sound: In the phone call, the audience can hear the other character through the phone during their conversation. The sound from the phone is diegetic as the audience can see where it is coming from. Mise-en-scene: Jordans costumes are jeans, a t-shirt and timberland boots. This shows that Jordan has just returned from somewhere. The prop she is using is the mobile phone in which she is having s conversation.

Frame 2

Scenario: During Jordans phone call there as a knock at the door that caught her immediate attention. Jordan hangs up the phone and walks to answer the front door as the knocking was continuous. As she answers the door, she sees her injured boyfriend, holding his bleeding side. Cinematography: The cinematography used was a wide shot, showing her living environment. The wide shot also shows her body positioning, behind the door. This indicates to the audience that she is scared to answer the door as the banging was loud. Sound: In this scene, the banging on the door is loud and aggressive to show the emergence of answering the door. The sound is diegetic as it is clear to the audience that it is coming from the door Mise en scene: the costume of the actor is casual as she just returned home from a day out.

Frame 3

Scenario: Jordan opened the door to see her injured boyfriend Brandon struggling to get through the door alone, so she assisted him into the house. Brandon has just been part of a fight as he has just committed a crime. However, Jordan has no idea what Brandon has been up to so her reaction is shocked and scared. Cinematography: The cinematography thats been used was a wide shot. This was used to show Brandon struggling and Jordan helping him. The shot also shows where Brandon was injured and how badly he was hurt. Sound: The sound in this part of the scene is diegetic because the audience can hear that Brandon is in pain. They can also hear Jordan repetitively asking him what happened and who done this to him. Brandons reaction and tone of voice reveals to the audience and Jordan that he will not tell her what he has just done. Mise-en-scene: the costumes that Brandon is wearing shows that he is hurt and needs help. The make- up in this scene were Brandons tattoos, which represent him as being violent and aggressive as he also well toned.

Frame 4

Scenario: In this scene, it portrays Jordan as helpful, however, Brandon seems reluctant to the support. Brandon shoves past Jordan because he doesnt want to explain what he has just been through, but Jordan tried grabbing onto his arm to stop him from walking away from her. Cinematography: I used an eye level shot for this scene so the audience can see Jordan fighting Brandon to get answers from him. Sound: The voices of both these characters are projecting, as Brandon is now getting impatient with Jordan and her continuous asking of questions and Jordan is starting to shout because she is apprehensive. Mise-en-scene: The picture on the wall symbolises a memory of one of the characters past and the oven mits above the kitchen door, represent that they are settled in the home. The bloody t-shirt reveals where Brandons injuries are and how much he is bleeding.

Frame 5

Scenario: Brandon grew more impatient which caused him to react violently towards Jordan as he grabs her face aggressively. Jordan shows she is hurt by her facial expression and by her hand being on Brandons arm trying to remove his grip from her face. Cinematography: I used a close up shot for this part of the scene because the facial expressions of both characters are clear. This demonstrates that Brandon is now very angry and Jordan is scared and hurt. Sound: As Brandon grabs onto Jordans face, he angrily mutters through his teeth Dont ask me that question again Mise-en-scene: The lighting creates a verisimilitude atmosphere representing the characters in the shot as intimidating and vulnerable.

Frame 6

Scenario: Jordans face was released from Brandon as he walked away from her; however, she still continued to annoy him for his action to result in him pushing her to the ground. Cinematography: I used a high angle shot so it was clear to the audience that Jordan has just been pushed to the ground. This shot shows Jordan trying to help herself by making her fall less hurtful as she grabs onto the door frame for support. Sound: When Jordans face gets released, her voice is breaking as shes scared and aware that Brandon has no hesitation to act like that towards her again. Jordan attempt to maintain her fall however falls to the ground landing heavily when her back and head met the floor. Mise-en-scene: The prop that has been used was the door frame as Jordan uses it to support her fall.

Frame 7

Scenario: Soon after Brandon pushes Jordan to the ground, he gets extremely aggressive and intends to kick Jordan in the stomach as his anger levels get higher and he grows more impatient. Cinematography: A wide shot has been used for the audience to see the action of Brandon and what hes about to do to Jordan. Sound: Jordans voice rises as she becomes more scared and begs Brandon to stop kicking her. The sound is diegetic as the audience can hear her saying Brandon...Please, stop! Youre hurting me Jordan holds her stomach as she turns over, crying heavily. Mise-en-scene: The lighting is high key which represents his actions clearer and makes his character seem more aggressive.

Frame 8

Scenario: Brandon stops kicking Jordan when he becomes calmer and realises what has happened that day. He steps over a crying Jordan and walks into the Bathroom. Cinematography: The cinematography used is a close up shot which reveals to the audience that Brandon is looking down as he feels guilty at his actions during the day. This shot also tell the audience that he seems very tired and needs immediate attention for his injuries. Sound: Brandon stomps away from the current situation he has just been in. He walks into the bathroom , looks into his reflection and stares at himself with a disgusted, guilty look. Mise-en-scene: The lighting is yellow which represents warmth as he is now hot due to the suspense of him committing a crime.

Frame 9

Scenario: Brandon calls the man he was doing a job for and explains what happened that evening. Cinematography: I have used an over the shoulder shot into his reflection as it shows him talking on the phone. Sound: Brandons tone of voice is deep and slow when he says Its done when he talks to the man he is doing a job for because he knows he has just committed a serious crime that he will never get away from. Mise-en-scene: The lighting gets brighter as Brandon begins to feel calmer about the situation, however the audience can see that Brandon feels blameworthy for hurting the women that was giving him support as well as the women he loves.
