ALTAR SERVING INVITATION & TRAINING “Being an Altar Server is a Call to Prayer and Mission”

-Pope Francis We invite and strongly encourage young people who have received their First Holy Communion to become Altar Servers. St. Pope Paul II said “The altar server has a

privileged place in liturgical celebrations. Those who serve at Mass present themselves to a community. They experience from close at hand that Jesus Christ is present and active in every liturgy.” Training sessions will take place on July 5, 6 and 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. in the main church. These sessions are mandatory for all current and new altar servers. Please stay tuned for more information and updates.

Prayer and Action is a weeklong retreat for you and your high school peers who will have the opportunity to put into practice our faith by going into the community and bringing joy to the elderly, disabled, or ill families with homes in need of painting, yardwork, or other maintenance. The retreat will also consist of learning about your faith while having a great time! Immaculate Conception will be hosting Prayer & Action from July 8 to July 13. INVITACION DE MONAGUILLOS Y FORMACION

"Ser monaguillo es un llamado a la oración y a la misión" (Papa Francisco)

Invitamos y animamos a jóvenes que han recibido su primera comunión para servir como monaguillos. El Santo Papa Pablo II dijo: "El servidor del altar tiene un lugar privilegiado en las celebraciones litúrgicas. Los que sirven en la Misa se presentan a una comunidad. Experimentan desde muy cerca que Jesucristo está presente y activo en cada liturgia ". Las sesiones de entrenamiento se llevaran a cabo el 5, 6 y 7 de julio, de 10:00 a.m. a 12:00 mediodía. en la iglesia inmaculada. Estas sesiones son obligatorias para todos los servidores de altar actuales y nuevos. Por favor, estén atentos para más información y actualizaciones.

¡Un Llamando a todos los estudiantes de High School! Este verano damos la bienvenida en nuestra Diócesis por primera vez, al programa de verano “Prayer and Action”. hours are on Monday’s from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and Friday’s 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Baptism and First Holy Communion Certificates must be presented at the time of registration. Would you like to get more involved in your church? The CCD English program is in dire need of volunteers, Men and Women who will share their talents as teachers, teacher’s aids, and office staff. With an average of 300 students, we need parishioners who will give of themselves by helping our children receive their sacraments.
