We have invested in bringing the most advanced and widest range of scanning technologies to our clients enabling them to experience the best the technology has to offer. Over the years, we have conducted lit- erally hundreds of successful scanning projects for our clientele throughout Australia and around the world deliv- ering world class expertise in our field. ABOUT OUR SERVICES 3D Spatial utilises a range of 3D laser scanning tech- nologies to accurately capture spatial information of just about any object imaginable. Our services in- clude on-site inspection, reverse engi- neering, non-contact laser scanning, 2D/3D digitising and high-definition long range scanning services. Our range of scanning systems are capable of measuring objects of any size rang- ing from human fingerprints and high- precision minaturised components to cars, boats, aircraft, buildings and industrial plants. Our specialised bureau service enjoys an unrivalled repuation in the market and pos- sesses a dedicated and highly skilled team to carry out all of your dimen- sional measurement requirements. REVERSE ENGINEERING Reverse Engineering is extremely useful when you have a part or ob- ject for which the original design data does not exist or you need to make changes to an existing design. Reverse engineering using 3D Scan data is the most efficient method to generate a CAD model from a physi- cal object that has any kind of com- plex or freeform shape. Our reverse engineering services are extremely comprehensive with a wide range of powerful software solutions being implemented alongside our scanning systems in order to best meet our customers requirements. NON-CONTACT INSPECTION With the advanced non-contact 3D Laser Scanning quality inspection services provided by 3D Spatial, you can easily discover surface deviations such as warpage, tooling deteriora- tion and other manufacturing defects in your parts quickly and accurately all by using non-contact technology. From precision turbine blade inspec- tion tools to conformity of manu- factured parts against original CAD models or production tooling. Our specialised metrology engineers are equipped with the right tools and years of experience to assist you in improving the quality of your manufac- turing processes to better compete in a demanding global marketplace HARD-PROBE INSPECTION Hard probing or digitising as it is also commonly know is a method of collecting discrete measurements in 3D-space using a device known as a portable co-ordinate measuring ma- chine (CMM). The information collect- ed can then be used for evaluation, inspection or basic geometric reverse engineering. Hard probing inspection is especially relevant for processes such as fixture calibrations and pre- cision alignments which often require micron levels of accuracy. HIGH-DEFINITION SURVEYING Our terrestrial Laser Scanner collects extremely large volumes of highly accurate photo-realistic spatial infor- mation which is in turn used for visualisation and analysis or translated into accu- rate 3D CAD models of the area for documenting the as-built environment fast, precise and cost effectively. High-Definition Survey- ing is suited to a wide range of surveying applications such as architectural, civil engineering, industrial plant, ma- rine and mining disciplines. High defi- nition surveying offers many advan- tages over traditional survey methods primarily due to the speed of data acquisition of up to 8 million points per minute with millimeter accuracy provides a more complete and detailed survey with a significantly reduced amount of fieldwork required to collect survey data. This is especially useful when the timeframe for data acquisi- tion in limited. The need for surveyors to return to the worksite to collect additional information is also eliminat- ed due to the fact that once the site has been scanned in sufficient detail every possible measurement desired is available directly from a computer. ...the right experience on demand
